Welcome

Hello, Efprime, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions.

I notice that one of the first articles you have edited appears to be dealing with a topic with which you may have a conflict of interest. In other words, you may find it difficult to write about that topic in a neutral and objective way, because you are, work for, or represent, the subject of that article. Your recent contributions may have already been reverted for this very reason.

To reduce the chances of deletion, you might like to draft your article before submission, then get me or any other editor to proofread it. To start creating a draft article, just click your user name at the top of the screen when you are logged in, and edit that page as you would any other. If the page you created has already been deleted from Wikipedia, but you want to save the content from it to use for that draft, don't hesitate to ask anyone from this list and they will copy it to your user page.

The one firm rule we do have in connection with conflicts of interest is that if more than one person is using this account to edit, then unfortunately it will be blocked from editing.

If you are stuck, and looking for help, please come to the New contributors' help page, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Or, you can just type {{helpme}} on your user page, and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Here are a few other good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you have any questions, check out Wikipedia:Where to ask a question or ask me on my talk page. Again, welcome! MuffledThud (talk) 09:09, 21 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, Thank you for your help. I would like to appologize if I am doing something odd. I was not aware that creating / editing pages for our own software is a problem, but now I understand it. The reason that I created the page was because one of our users suggested us to do so. So I will tell the user that I could not do it because I am too close to the topic itself. Could you please delete the page, or should I do something for it? Thank you for your help.
Hello, and thanks for your quick reply. No problem about the WP:Conflict of interest - it's clear you were creating the article in good faith. If you want to delete the page, just add {{db-author}} to the top.
If it's notable software, I'd be happy to write a short article on it for you. Please have a read of WP:GNG for some general guidelines on notability. It would be helpful if you could find some independent, WP:Reliable sources online about it. Let me know on my talk page, and I'll get started on it. Thanks, MuffledThud (talk) 09:50, 21 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Hi, thank you for your help. If it is not a problem I do not really want to delete the page, but I hope the "A major contributor to this article..." sentences be deleted. (of course it is very nice if you can add something on it!) As the WP:Reliable sources, there is a conference talk on it (UseR! 2008) (please search with the words "R AnalyticFlow") and I found a review article. Are there enough? I am going to delete the page and wait until someone make a newer one. Thank you for your support.Efprime (talk) 13:37, 26 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
