Hello! To start editing on Wikipedia, first look at some towns or cities you know about, and see if the info on them is correct. The large cities have quite thorough articles, while most villages have only very short articles. What can be useful is info about the history, the importance (battles, conferences, famous inhabitants, landmarks, attractions, festivals, ...), the economy (Tienen = sugar, Waterschei = coal mines, ...), ... If possible, try to give sources for your info.
If a city or town has already a long article, it may be better to first check the talk page (the "discussion"): e.g. Brussels has long discussions about the language situation, and while you are encouraged to be bold in editing, you do run the risk that a bold edit there will soon be reversed.
In general, if an edit is reversed and you think that is incorrect, it is best to discuss it either at the discussion page of the article or on the discussion page of the user that reversed your edit.
A good method to see how an article about a city should ultimately be is to look at some Wikipedia:Featured articles about cities, like Ann Arbor, Michigan, or Sheffield. Don't get discouraged by this standard though: it is meant as an inspiration, to give an idea of lay-out, chapters, what is and isn't important (something like "the best café of Wingene is "Den Varkensboer" is not suitable for Wikipedia, but that Wingene is known for the pig farms is). A decent article (far from perfect of course) about a Belgian town is something like Assebroek, while e.g. Fosses-la-Ville must have more to say about it (I believe it has e.g. a beautiful Roman church, but I'ld have to check).

Furthermore, you are an old Wikipedian who had started a ridiculous RFI against me[3], and who has been warned after I had filed a previous RfI against you[4].
