Speedy deletion of CCPHOTOART.biz[edit]

A tag has been placed on CCPHOTOART.biz requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for web content.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. Rissa (talk) 17:49, 23 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

If you'd like to keep the article on Wikipedia, you'll need to assert its notability (see WP:N) or it'll be deleted again. I notice the amount of work you're trying to put into the page, but to avoid deletion, establish its notability for inclusion into an encyclopedia first, ok? ~Kylu (u|t) 18:09, 23 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Oh yeah, I almost forgot, when you post on talk pages you should sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); that should automatically produce your username and the date after your post. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and ask your question there. Again, welcome!

March 2008[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Please do not remove speedy deletion tags from pages that you have created yourself. If you do not believe the page should be deleted, then please place {{hangon}} on the page (please do not remove any existing speedy deletion tag) and make your case on the page's talk page. Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do with the page. Thank you. Torchwood Who? (talk) 08:20, 24 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I'm attempting to help clarify to an admin that your page should be given more time to evolve. Please do not do things to your own detriment like remove tags. All it does is make your article harder to defend and as noted above can lead to being blocked.--Torchwood Who? (talk) 08:21, 24 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop removing speedy deletion notices from pages that you have created yourself. If you continue, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. CiTrusD (talk) 08:25, 24 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Like Torchwood Who? said, removing speedy deletion tags is only going to get you into hot water. Continue to edit the article, but don't remove the tag again, please. CiTrusD (talk) 08:27, 24 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

This is the last warning you will receive for your disruptive edits.
The next time you remove a speedy deletion notice from a page, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. CiTrusD (talk) 08:28, 24 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Moved Article[edit]

Per WP:Bold I'm alerting you that I'm moving your article to your own personal namespace. This is to insure that your work is not destroyed if the article is deleted. If the article is deleted I will help you to figure out how to improve it. I will be posting a link shortly.--Torchwood Who? (talk) 08:41, 24 March 2008 (UTC) User:Duckchief/test is where the article is. As I said, I will help you improve it if it is deleted, but you CAN NOT make any more disruptive edits!--Torchwood Who? (talk) 08:43, 24 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Sources[edit]

The most important thing, right off the bat is sourcing. I noticed you removed several references from the article. May I ask why? Also, the more sources the better. If there are independent reviews, commentary or interviews with the article subjects that is very helpful. Articles should contain information that is unsourced and flowery language should be avoided at all costs. Please read WP:NPOV to understand what I'm getting at. Also, if you can provide some online evidence of the magazine participation and art exhibitions that is also very useful. When you've compiled some of that information just hit me back again and I'll help you sort it.--Torchwood Who? (talk) 09:37, 24 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent edits[edit]

Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. If you can't type the tilde character, you should click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot (talk) 16:18, 24 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Suggestions[edit]

1. The sources are starting to look good. One or two more actual article mentions might really lock it down. I'd suggest adding the blog entry I found about the Orlando show [1] and maybe one more thing, if it exists.

2. The section that lists the photography subjects should be trimmed down to include maybe only the top five or so and should be written in paragraph form, same with the magazine.

3. I'd suggest changing any critical language like "Their photographs show raw emotions true to the artist and his music. Their work is conceived in perfect unison: four eyes, one vision." It ideally should be removed unless it's a direct quote from a critic or journalist. The article needs to be as neutral as possible.

4. All biographical information that can't be sourced to a third party should be removed. I would take out everything about the childhoods of the partners.

After those four things are completed I'll check it over again and if it's good I'll try to reintroduce it as an article for you.--Torchwood Who? (talk) 00:14, 25 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Looks Good[edit]

Everything looks good and I reintroduced the article at CCPHOTOART. I'm glad my suggestions were well received.--Torchwood Who? (talk) 17:31, 26 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
