Tasek Gelugor railway station moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, Tasek Gelugor railway station, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published as it is not shown to meet WP:GEOFEAT. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited KTM West Coast railway line, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Jasin (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Hello, Draco97. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Tasek Gelugor railway station".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}}, {{db-draft}}, or {{db-g13}} code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. CASSIOPEIA(talk) 10:08, 4 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Same style for Putrajaya and Kajang Line

[edit]

Hello there. I'm messaging you to inquire if there is a way to apply the same style for the name section of the LRT lines (the background colours, i.e. pink for KJ, brown for SP, etc) for Kajang and Putrajaya lines. I hope you could help. Thanks. FikkuFiq 23:59, 3 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hi! I am not sure who created the infobox style template but it currently allows the background colour formatting for Prasarana owned lines only, i.e. Ampang, Sri Petaling, Kelana Jaya, Shah Alam, Monorail and the BRT. It follows the signage format in all RapidKL stations. The MRT lines have a different signage format (also different company) in their stations, probably that is why they don't have the same style infobox like the LRT stations. The current way it is displayed matches the signage in the stations. Draco97 (talk) 06:23, 4 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Now that you said it, I also realized that's kinda true 🤣. FikkuFiq 23:58, 4 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Haha yes. I wish there was conformity. I wish everything was the same. Would look so much better tbh. But thank you for asking! Draco97 (talk) 05:15, 11 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

KLRT route diagrams

[edit]
  1. STOP changing the V•T•E links! The |navbar= parameter has to have the name of the template, otherwise an error occurs.
  2. Stations that do not exist (yet) cannot be "provisional". (I realize that English may not be your primary language.)
  3. Italics are not used for anything other than connecting lines: see WP:Route diagram template/MOS#Text.

Thank you for your cooperation. Useddenim (talk) 14:50, 20 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Also, please read MOS:HYPHEN and MOS:DASH for the correct use of "-" and "–". Useddenim (talk) 14:58, 20 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

1. Was unaware of this. I am trying to make sure there is standardisation and conformity across all articles and templates related to rail transport in Malaysia which is seriously lacking, I misunderstood what this parameter meant.
2. Like I said, I am making sure there is proper standardistation and conformity across all articles because it gets confusing when there are too many terms being used. The word "provisional" has been used across all the articles as well as on news sites when talking about the stations that have yet to be built. And fyi, English is my native language.
3. Noted on this.
And to add on,
4. It would be helpful if you corrected the mistakes instead of undoing everything completely and removing the correct and useful edits.
Thank you for your hard work. Draco97 (talk) 03:26, 3 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Apologies for any misunderstandings – I admit that I am not all that knowledgeable about that part of the world.
I was relying on the Wiktionary definition of "provisional"; is there a local usage with a different meaning, or is it possibly a poor translation from Malay?
Also, it might be worthwhile to review the naming of all rail infrastructure in Malaysia – is there a style guide (akin to Wikipedia:Naming conventions (UK stations))? As an aside, Dicklyon was quite helpful when the naming of UK rail lines was rationalized about five years ago. And I will attempt to be more judicious with my edits going forward.
