A tag has been placed on The Clutching Foot, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable. If you can indicate why The Clutching Foot is really notable, you can contest the tagging. To do this, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page and leave a note on Talk:The Clutching Foot, explaining how The Clutching Foot is notable. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself.

Please read the criteria for speedy deletion (specifically, articles #7) and our general biography criteria. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this.Seraphimblade 06:53, 22 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hi! I noticed that you created the article Freaky Fred recently, but have redirected it to the character's section at List of Courage the Cowardly Dog Episodic Characters page. This is because it doesn't appear to be an especially important article, although it's possible that I'm wrong. Feel free to ask other people what they think at Talk:List of Courage the Cowardly Dog Episodic Characters. :) Daveydweeb (chat/patch) 12:11, 23 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, and thanks for the message on my talk page. In truth, it isn't my decision to make - Wikipedia's very strongly based around community consensus, so it would help to get others' opinions before making any decision on this. The best course of action would be to leave a message at the talk page I linked to above, proposing that the Freaky Fred episode have its own page, because it gives other people a chance to make up their own opinion and weigh in on the matter. If you'd like a quicker response, feel free to ask for a third opinion here.
In the meantime, don't stress too much about it. This isn't a personal attack on you (and thanks for taking it that way :) ), but rather, an effort to ensure that Wikipedia doesn't end up with too much obscure content. Feel free to stick around, though: we a whole WikiProject, a group of people with similar interests, devoted to creating good articles for television episodes. If you have any questions, feel free to ask them on my talk page (where you posted before), and don't forget to sign your messages with four tildes (like this: ~~~~). Category[edit]

For the Courage the Cowardly Dog articles you are doing, you can add them to the category Category:Courage the Cowardly Dog by adding [[Category:Courage the Cowardly Dog]] at the bottom. Hope this helps, Angus McLellan (Talk) 12:28, 23 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Category[edit]

When adding an article to a category please note that you must use square brackets instead of parenthesis, and spaces are not allowed around the colon. For example: [[Category:Courage the Cowardly Dog]]. I have fixed your previous edits. It may help to simply copy and paste the previous example in the future. --Pascal666 15:53, 25 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
