File Copyright problem
File Copyright problem

Thank you for uploading File:Newbride st house.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. J Milburn (talk) 11:35, 3 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

August 2009[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. The recent edit you made to the page File:Newbride st house.jpg has been reverted, as it appears to be unconstructive. Use the sandbox for testing; if you believe the edit was constructive, please ensure that you provide an informative edit summary. You may also wish to read the introduction to editing. Thank you. A tag has been placed on File:File-Newbride st house.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image is an unused redundant copy (all pixels the same or scaled down) of an image in the same file format, which is on Wikipedia (not on Commons), and all inward links have been updated.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. ww2censor (talk) 04:37, 4 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Streetscape scene at New Bride Street[edit]

Lovely photos btw. But the article doesn't need a streetscape and it's out of proportion with the size of the article. Let's just pick the best two photo's and fit them in - it's about the max that an article of this size can take. --HighKing (talk) 17:04, 4 August 2009 (UTC

I'm new to this and am a little overwhelmed, I am also sure that this is the wrong place to reply to you but can't even seem to get that right hehehe. If you do get this then I appreciate your input and I think that i am more of a pics man that a word smith so I was trying to use the pics where possible. I like all the pics and would find it hard to choose between them, I gues my favorites would be the singe story house, the aerial view and the kevin's terrace pics. your patiences is appreciated John

Hi John, I usually watch pages I post to. As to the pics, given the (current) size of the article, I'd say that any more than 2 pics is overkill. What about the single-terrace house, and the pic of the terrace? --HighKing (talk) 18:55, 4 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
let me think about it, may not be finished with the whole article yet.--Doyler79 (talk) 20:44, 4 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
No problem. There's no hurry. For now, I'll merely resize the pics so that they don't overlap. --HighKing (talk) 21:50, 4 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Ah - you've done that - great! --HighKing (talk) 21:51, 4 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I have removed the FfD tag you placed on File:Elstree Studios.jpg. I did this because you didn't create the nomination at Files for Deletion. If you still want the image deleted, feel free to re-add the tag, and add a nomination at today's Files for Deletion page. עוד מישהו Od Mishehu 14:56, 22 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

License tagging for File:Nigella damascena seed capsule.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Nigella damascena seed capsule.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.

For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 16:08, 14 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

St Stephen's Green images[edit]

Hi. I wasn't entirely sure about the rationale for your removal/changes to certain images on the Stephen's Green article - so I tweaked a little. Per my edit summary, the fountain image is probably better as a "primary" image for infobox. It's one of the focal points of the park, and possibly a more representative image. (And besides, while you changed the image, you didn't change the caption/label.) Is there something I'm missing that might make the image of the OPW offices a better candidate as the primary image? Also, I note that you reverted the layout map. Again, not sure what the rationale is/was for removing a layout map from the layout section. In my view, gives much needed context to the descriptive layout text. Guliolopez (talk) 22:23, 31 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. I see you replaced the image again - this time addressing the label issue. However, I'm still not convinced that a pic of the gatekeepers cottage is the best representative image of the park. Apart from "I took it and I like it", can you explain why you think it's a more appropriate image? Guliolopez (talk) 17:28, 2 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
