WikiTree citation in Cliff Edwards[edit]
I am writing in response to your post on my talk page. You wrote:
I've restored the changes that you undid on https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cliff_Edwards#Personal_life. The WikiTree profile that is cited contains full citations for the sources cited. Please leave the changes in place. They make an important reference to Clifton's life.
In that case, the citations in Cliff Edwards should be made to the sources themselves, not to WikiTree. Because WikiTree is a user-generated site, it should be eliminated as a cited source (WP:USERGENERATED) and replaced by citation(s) to the source(s) in which the information is found. I'm going to remove the WikiTree citation again. If you consider the sources in that article to be reliable, then you can create citations for them as needed in the WP article.
