Regarding your recent edit... This fact you are trying to insert seems random with the intention of possibly softening the blow of the previous sentence. A lot of film articles do mention the box office total gross, but it's not required and here it isn't necessary. As mentioned above, I suggest you begin a new discussion on the article's talk page if you'd like to state your case.
