December 2017[edit]

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia. We welcome and appreciate your contributions, including your edits to The Thrill of It All (Sam Smith album), but we cannot accept original research. Original research refers to material—such as facts, allegations, ideas, and personal experiences—for which no reliable, published sources exist; it also encompasses combining published sources in a way to imply something that none of them explicitly say. Please be prepared to cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. Thank you. Jack Frost (talk) 07:44, 10 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Image without license[edit]

Unspecified source/license for File:Nick Bateman.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Nick Bateman.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. Even if you created the image yourself, you still need to release it so Wikipedia can use it. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you made this image yourself, you can use copyright tags like {{PD-self}} (to release all rights), {{self|CC-by-sa-3.0|GFDL}} (to require that you be credited), or any tag here - just go to the image, click edit, and add one of those. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.

Non-free rationale for File:The 1989 World Tour Live.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:The 1989 World Tour Live.jpg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under non-free content criteria, but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia is acceptable. Please go to the file description page, and edit it to include a non-free rationale.

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified the non-free rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described in section F6 of the criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

ATTENTION: This is an automated, bot-generated message. This bot DID NOT nominate any file(s) for deletion; please refer to the page history of each individual file for details. Thanks, FastilyBot (talk) 03:00, 8 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

New Year's Day (Taylor Swift song)[edit]

Please, next time you create an article, create it over the top of the existing redirect for the song. We don't use curly quotation marks in titles for Wikipedia articles, we use straight quotes typed by most keyboards ('). For example, if you wished to create an article I Did Something Bad, you are currently redirected to the article for Reputation. Click on the blue link right at the top of the article (where it says "Redirected from I Did Something Bad") and edit the article there. Ss112 03:06, 19 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.

When editing Wikipedia, there is a field labeled "Edit summary" below the main edit box. It looks like this:

Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)

I noticed your recent edit to Liam Payne does not have an edit summary. Please be sure to provide a summary of every edit you make, even if you write only the briefest of summaries. The summaries are very helpful to people browsing an article's history.

Edit summary content is visible in:

Please use the edit summary to explain your reasoning for the edit, or a summary of what the edit changes. You can give yourself a reminder to add an edit summary by setting Preferences → Editing → check Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary. Thanks! Ss112 02:03, 29 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

2018 Brit Awards[edit]

Information icon Please do not add that Dua Lipa has the most nominations on 2018 Brit Awards, because today is the day of the ceremony and people now only care about who has the most awards, not the most nominations. Thank you. JE98 (talk) 18:35, 21 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

New Year's Day (Taylor Swift song)[edit]

You've now created two sets of articles for New Year's Day (Taylor Swift song): one is a redirect (with the proper apostrophe), and one is an article (with a non-standard-character apostrophe, against MOS:CURLY). Why would you not go back to the place you first created the article and redo it there? Why make another one? I think you need to learn the proper way to make an article and stop (unintentionally) giving admins or page movers jobs to do by creating articles in the wrong place. This could have been avoided in the first place if you had've just created your content over the top of the existing redirect for the song before it had to be moved for the first time last month. We don't capitalise the "s" in song between the parentheses, and we use non-curly apostrophes like this: '. Search using the Wikipedia search bar to see if a song or album does not already exist. If it does, and you are redirected to another article, click the small blue text at the top of the article you are redirected to (where it says "Redirected from New Year's Day (song)"), then you will be taken to that redirect that you can then edit. There you can create the article to your heart's content. Please bear this in mind before making another 10 pages for the same topic where others' redirects have to be overwritten. Thanks. A tag has been placed on File:Taylor Swift - ...Ready For It?(music video screenshot).jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the file appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use it — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Creating articles in the right place[edit]

Hi DontBlameMe. You've been on Wikipedia for a while, so I think you know by now the correct place to create an article. As the user Starcheers pointed out to you, if you want to create a page for Shawn Mendes' song "Nervous", please do so at Nervous (Shawn Mendes song). That is the correct location, as we already have multiple songs on Wikipedia with the title "Nervous". Also, you added a space before "song" in the disambiguated title of your redirect. Surely you know Nervous ( song) is not the right place for any article to go. At any rate, please see WP:Naming conventions (music). Thanks. Ss112 06:05, 25 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Your edits to CenturyLink Field[edit]

CenturyLink Field is a Featured article, which means it must be kept according to the FA criteria. Large tables to list concerts (a regular and non-notable event) are decidedly not what can be considered high-quality, which is why they are being phased out when articles reach GA/FA candidacy. Hi, I'm RonBot, a script that checks new non-free file uploads. I have found that the subject image that you recently uploaded was more than 5% in excess of the Non-free content guideline size of 100,000 pixels. I have tagged the image for a standard reduction, which (for jpg/gif/png/svg files) normally happens within a day. Please check the reduced image, and make sure that the image is not excessively corrupted. Other files will be added to Category:Wikipedia non-free file size reduction requests for manual processing. There is a full seven-day period before the original oversized image will be hidden; during that time you might want to consider editing the original image yourself (perhaps an initial crop to allow a smaller reduction or none at all). A formula for calculation the desired size can be found at WP:Image resolution, along with instructions on how to tag the image in the rare cases that it requires an oversized image (typically about 0.2% of non-free uploads are tagged as necessarily oversized). Please contact the bot owner if you have any questions, or you can ask them at Wikipedia talk:Non-free content. RonBot (talk) 17:16, 25 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

August 2018[edit]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Delicate (Taylor Swift song). Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Points to note:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. Binksternet (talk) 20:12, 31 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Issuing level 1 warning about removing AfD template from articles before the discussion is complete. (Peachy 2.0 (alpha 8))[edit]

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia. Please do not remove Articles for deletion notices from articles, or remove other people's comments in Articles for deletion debates, as you did with I Did Something Bad. Otherwise, it may be difficult to create consensus. If you oppose the deletion of an article, please comment at the respective page instead. This is an automated message from a bot about this edit, where you removed the deletion template from an article before the deletion discussion was complete. If this message is in error, please report it.—cyberbot ITalk to my owner:Online 06:49, 3 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Fake certs[edit]

Please stop adding fake certs. It's considered a vandalism. ×°˜`°×ηαη¢у×°˜`°× 11:33, 2 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

You've been adding tons of fake certifications lately, may I ask why? The next time you're caught adding fake content, you'll be reported. ×°˜`°×ηαη¢у×°˜`°× 11:44, 2 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for hoaxing.

I have reviewed some of your edits and found egregiously fake citations that are completely irrelevant to the text you added. To say this is not cool is an understatement. I see a lot of warnings above and no evidence that you are engaging with the community to improve your edits. Guy (Help!) 12:58, 4 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
