Happy editing! Royal Autumn Crest (talk) 18:15, 24 July 2022 (UTC)
- Aloha,
- Thank you for reaching out! From a first look the links provided appear helpful and plan to review them to ensure that my inputs align with the guidelines.
- My biggest issue (so far) has been the limited functionality of the Equation related Templates for numbering and cross referencing. I wasn't sure how to make a constructive comment, how to request enhancements to existing templates, or create new ones. I plan to start with the Teahouse.

Links to user pages and sandboxes
[edit]Please do not introduce links in actual articles to user pages or sandboxes, as you did at Magnetic sail. Since these pages have not been accepted as articles, user pages, sandboxes and drafts are not suitable for linking in articles. and such links are contrary to the Manual of Style. These links have been deleted, please do not re-add any such links, thank you - Arjayay (talk) 21:49, 27 July 2022 (UTC)
- My apologies, I am relatively new to Wikipedia. I was editing a large block of material in my sandbox and must have inadvertently inserted a link to my sandbox page. Thanks for catching this. I will be more careful in the future. Dmcdysan (talk) 01:59, 28 July 2022 (UTC)
Hi
[edit]Hi Dmcdysan, I am so impressed with your mathematical coding. Have you learned it just for your wikiwork? WomenArtistUpdates (talk) 00:10, 1 November 2022 (UTC)
- Wikipedia has a relatively good equation editor based upon LaTeX that is similar to other systems. Help:Displaying a formula As I noted above, the Equation Note and Reference templates are less full featured than other systems and as I responded to Royal Autumn Crest I may start with the Tea Room to see how best to address this. I think that a number of existing Wikipedia pages with numbered equations would benefit. Dmcdysan (talk) 20:51, 2 November 2022 (UTC)
