This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Jigyasa (National Level Paper Presentation Competition DOMS IIT Roorkee), and it appears to include material copied directly from http://www.iitr.ac.in/departments/DM/pages/Activities+JIGYASA_2010.html.

It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. The article will be reviewed to determine if there are any copyright issues.

If substantial content is duplicated and it is not public domain or available under a compatible license, it will be deleted. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material. You may use such publications as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. See our copyright policy for further details. (If you own the copyright to the previously published content and wish to donate it, see Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials for the procedure.) A tag has been placed on Jigyasa (National Level Paper Presentation Competition DOMS IIT Roorkee) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a clear copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words.

If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag - if no such tag exists then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hangon tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. intelati(Call) 19:24, 20 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Since there's no sign that permission for this material was verified through any of the usable processes described above, the content has been removed. I must admit that I have some concern that the event would not meet our guidelines for inclusion as a separate article anyway. If you want to create an article on this subject, you'll need to be able to provide lots of links to reliable sources that are not connected to the University which discuss it. (See Wikipedia:Reliable sources for more information on the kinds of sources that can be used.) For now, I've redirected the article's title to Department_of_Management_Studies,_IIT_Roorkee#Annual_events. What you may find more successful is to add a bit of information in that article about the event, which does not require proving separate notability. Just, please, be sure that you use only your own words unless you follow one of the processes above to verify that you have permission. Since this is a legal matter, we can't take your word for it, but do have to prove it. Thanks, and if you have any questions, please feel free to come by my talk page. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 15:25, 29 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Media Cell - DOMS IIT Roorkee requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a club, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guidelines for people and for organizations. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. Copyright problems[edit]

You have again copied content into Jigyasa (National Level Paper Presentation Competition DOMS IIT Roorkee). For example, you added the following:

Today our educational system is strong enough but central and state governments should change their roles within the education system, re-inventing themselves as facilitating and supervisory organizations. Teacher training, infrastructure and syllabuses need to be urgently upgraded. Industry should come forward to share experience with students and to offer more opportunities for live Projects.

We see this same content here:

Today our educational system is strong enough but Central and state governments should change their roles within the education system, re-inventing themselves as facilitating and supervisory organizations. Teacher training, infrastructure and syllabuses need to be urgently upgraded. Industry should come forward to share experience with students and to offer more opportunities for live Projects.

More material is duplicated from that source, and other content is duplicated from [1].

Content cannot be copied into Wikipedia without verifying permission from any previously published source unless you can prove that the source is not governed by copyright. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 17:48, 12 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
