Request reason:

IP address in my work place seems to be in a range of blocked IP addresses. As an open-source implementor of the ISO 19162 standard, and after discussion with the main ISO 19162 author, I would like to fix technical errors in the Wikipedia Well Known Text (WKT) page. I already did minor contributions to that page 5 years ago. My intend is to edit from my account only. The message is "The IP address that you are currently using has been blocked because it is believed to be a web host provider." The blocking was done by Elockid. Blocking started: October 8, 2015 at 13:15. Blocking end: October 8, 2018 at 13:15. Blocked account: 2001:41D0:0:0:0:0:0:0/32. IP address: 2001:41d0:fe72:4400:480d:d41b:cd7c:caf0. Blocking ID: 6354418. Desruisseaux (talk) 07:54, 20 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Accept reason:

Looks like this range block was lifted by another admin on July 26. For admins with the necessary access, you can see the block log here. Yamla (talk) 21:31, 2 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

  • Please provide the message you get when you try to edit, including your IP address. If you want to keep your IP address confidential, please make a request at WP:UTRS instead of here. Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 09:05, 19 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]
