The article Lucinde has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

No indication that this novel has yet achieved any kind of notability. Also, the article creator appears to have a conflict of interest.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Scog (talk) 17:37, 7 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I'm leaving you this message in order to notify you that your article Lucinde has been nominated for deletion at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Lucinde. Although this work is clearly important to you personally, right now I can't find any evidence that it is important (or in Wikipedia jargon, notable) to a wider audience. The best way to refute this is by providing non-trivial references to this work in reliable sources. If such sources exist, and I've just failed to find them, then please feel free to provide them in the deletion discussion referenced above. On the other hand, if Lucinde hasn't yet attracted significant attention, then it's probably not a suitable topic for an encyclopedia at this time. Also, my concern regarding a conflict of interest is that you appear to be both the author of the work in question and the Wikpedia page. If I'm wrong about this, then please accept my apologies; if not, then you may want to take a look at WP:COI to see why we frown on editors with conflicts of interest.
