Don't remove speeedy tags[edit]

Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from articles, as you did with Mitchell Oldschool Danger Bennett Mallory III. You were correct in adding the {{hangon}} tag, but you must also leave the db tag in place at the same time. Thank you. ●DanMSTalk 00:14, 16 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

1st deletion[edit]

The article Mitchell Oldschool Danger Bennett Mallory III has been speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This was done because the article seemed to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it did not indicate how or why the subject is notable, that is, why an article about that subject should be included in Wikipedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert notability may be deleted at any time. If you can indicate why the subject is really notable, you are free to re-create the article, making sure to cite any verifiable sources.

tagged again[edit]

Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and for specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. See WP:ATTRIBUTION. NawlinWiki 00:24, 16 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

"What more you need" is independent, reliable sources (see WP:ATTRIBUTION) showing this person's notability (see WP:MUSIC). NawlinWiki 00:50, 16 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Mitchell oldschool danger bennett mallory III, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion debate, such as articles for deletion. If you can indicate how Mitchell oldschool danger bennett mallory III is different from the previously posted material, or if you can indicate why this article should not be deleted, I advise you to place the template {{hangon}} underneath the other template on the article, and also put a note on Talk:Mitchell oldschool danger bennett mallory III saying why this article should stay. An admin should check for such edits before deleting the article. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Please read our criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 4 under General criteria. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. We welcome your help in trying to improve Wikipedia, and we request you to follow these instructions. Giles Bennett (Talk, Contribs) 21:22, 29 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

untagged[edit]

I have removed the speedy deletion tag from Mitchell oldschool danger bennett mallory III (which should be moved back to the properly capitolized name) but this does need reliable sources or esle it may be deleted by a slightly slower process in the near future. Nominated for WP:AFD[edit]

See Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Mitchell oldschool danger bennett mallory III DES (talk)

A tag has been placed on The yarrow requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a band or musician, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for musical topics. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you.  IShadowed  ✰  03:52, 24 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page The yarrow has been reverted.
Your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline from Wikipedia. The external link you added or changed is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. I removed the following link(s): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tZ5xo_6Jm64 (matching the regex rule \byoutube\.com). If the external link you inserted or changed was to a media file (e.g. a sound or video file) on an external server, then note that linking to such files may be subject to Wikipedia's copyright policy and therefore probably should not be linked to. Please consider using our upload facility to upload a suitable media file. Video links are also strongly deprecated by our guidelines for external links, partly because they're useless to people with slow internet connections.
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! --XLinkBot (talk) 03:55, 24 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The article The yarrow has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Local coverage alone is not enough to reach the notability criteria for musicians and ensembles.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. I have nominated The yarrow, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/The yarrow. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.

Please contact me if you're unsure why you received this message. Jeffrey Mall (talkcontribs) - 13:41, 1 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Davidjohnross, I have suggested that the article be kept but it really needs to have some more work done on it with more and more sturdy refs. Still I think that it should stay but as I said it needs some work. Thanks (Milestokilo (talk) 13:01, 15 February 2010 (UTC))[reply]
