Copyright problems with Image:Alfredmylne.gif[edit]

An image that you uploaded, Image:Alfredmylne.gif, has been listed at Wikipedia:Copyright problems because it is a suspected copyright violation. Please look there if you know that the image is legally usable on Wikipedia (you may have to search for the title of the image to find its entry), and then provide the necessary information there and on its page, if you are interested in it not being deleted. February 2010[edit]

Please do not remove speedy deletion notices from pages you have created yourself, as you did with Alfred Mylne II. Please use the {{hangon}} template on the page instead if you disagree with the deletion, and make your case on the page's talk page. Thank you. JamesBWatson (talk) 20:20, 3 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The article Alfred Mylne II has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

No evidence of notability. Only reference is to a page which has two brief mentions of Mylne.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
