Recent edit to Katy Freels[edit]

Hello. I noticed that you made an edit to a biography of a living person (Katy Freels), but that you didn't support your changes with a citation to a reliable source. Wikipedia has a strict policy concerning how we write about living people, so please help us keep such articles accurate. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page.

Do you have references for the statements you inserted? If you do, then put in the reference and restore the content. Happy editing.

Thank you!   Bfpage |leave a message  19:06, 12 March 2015 (UTC)bou[reply]

Thanks for getting back to me about this edit. Hmmm. I see your problem, of course. But the issue is that even the article where you got your information still has to have a reference itself. It's ironic that you can't really use Wikipedia as a source for itself, really. Since I didn't see the article where you got your information it is still not a good thing for that article to not have a reference to back up the statement that you want to you use to add content to the article you are trying to help. My suggestion is to find a reference for the information you want to put back in the article you are trying to help make better by searching google for the information you need. Get back to me if you need help. Best Regards,

Hi DatGameDoe. I've removed the material you added to Katy Freels. Material has to be published somewhere else before you can include it in Wikipedia. This also fixes the reference problems below. Encyclopedias are different from magazines or blogs and don't publish interviews and reporters research. See if you can find articles which have been written about her.
