Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Candace Cameron Bure may have broken the syntax by modifying 2 "[]"s. If you have, don't worry, just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

List of unpaired brackets remaining on the page:

Information icon Please do not add unreferenced or poorly referenced information, especially if controversial, to articles or any other page on Wikipedia about living (or recently deceased) persons, as you did to Ariana Grande. Thank you. Geraldo Perez (talk) 16:50, 13 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Please note that Singer-songwriter has a very specific meaning and does not apply to singers that just collaborate with professional songwriters in creating the songs they sing. Specifically it is not just another way of writing singer, songwriter. Read the singer-songwriter article for more. As for Ariana Grande, look at the writing credits for the songs she sings. She is no more than a co-writer on them if she is even involved at all – no way she deserves to be called a singer-songwriter. Geraldo Perez (talk) 17:01, 13 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop adding unreferenced or poorly referenced biographical content, especially if controversial, to articles or any other Wikipedia page, as you did at Ariana Grande. Content of this nature could be regarded as defamatory and is in violation of Wikipedia policy. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Your recent editing history at Ariana Grande shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you get reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See BRD for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. —C.Fred (talk) 17:45, 13 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

We have a manual of style that we try to follow. What you are adding does not belong in the opening intro sentence of the article - see WP:OPENPARA for more about this. It may be something that could be added to the article's lead paragraphs but not the intro which is supposed to just give basic info. That she was nominated for some award is not the key reason she is notable, which is all that should be in the intro. Geraldo Perez (talk) 18:32, 13 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]
In fact, Grande's Emmy nominations are already mentioned later in the Lead section and elsewhere. -- Ssilvers (talk) 23:33, 13 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Queen Latifah, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Sphere (film) and Set It Off. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

A tag has been placed on Darius brown-bey, requesting that it be deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under two or more of the criteria for speedy deletion, by which articles can be deleted at any time, without discussion. If the page meets any of these strictly-defined criteria, then it may be soon be deleted by an administrator. The reasons it has been tagged are:

  • It is an article with no content whatsoever, or whose contents consist only of external links, a "See also" section, book references, category tags, template tags, interwiki links, a rephrasing of the title, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article. (See section A3 of the criteria for speedy deletion.) Wikipedia has standards for the minimum necessary information to be included in short articles; you can see these at Wikipedia:Stub. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here.
