File copyright problem with File:Daniel at irwindale.jpg[edit]

Thank you for uploading File:Daniel at irwindale.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright and licensing status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can verify that it has an acceptable license status and a verifiable source. Please add this information by editing the image description page. You may refer to the image use policy to learn what files you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. The page on copyright tags may help you to find the correct tag to use for your file. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.

Please also check any other files you may have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Here is a list of your uploads.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. Eeekster (talk) 02:33, 7 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

File permission problem with File:Daniel at irwindale.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Daniel at irwindale.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file agreed to license it under the given license.

If you created this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

  • make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
  • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read the Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Eeekster (talk) 21:52, 7 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

December 2011[edit]

Hello, Danielwreyes, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions.

I notice that one of the first articles you edited was GO technologies, which appears to be dealing with a topic with which you may have a conflict of interest. In other words, you may find it difficult to write about that topic in a neutral and objective way, because you are, work for, or represent, the subject of that article. Your recent contributions may have already been undone for this very reason.

To reduce the chances of your contributions being undone, you might like to draft your revised article before submission, and then ask me or any other editor to proofread it. To start creating a draft article, just click your user name at the top of the screen when you are logged in, and edit that page as you would any other. If the page you created has already been deleted from Wikipedia, but you want to save the content from it to use for that draft, don't hesitate to ask anyone from this list and they will copy it to your user page.

The one firm rule we do have in connection with conflicts of interest is that accounts used by more than one person will unfortunately be blocked from editing. It is also worth noting that Wikipedia generally does not allow editors to have usernames which specifically link them to one company or corporation. If your username does have such a name, it would be advisable for you to request a change of username.

If you are stuck, and looking for help, please come to the New contributors' help page, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! You can also just type {{helpme}} on your user page, and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Here are a few other good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you have any questions, check out Wikipedia:Where to ask a question or ask me on my talk page. Again, welcome! --Drm310 (talk) 18:41, 21 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Go Technologies[edit]

Daniel- I warned and referred both users to admins to be blocked. If you have a problem with their edits in the future, you should do the same. I also requested that the page in question gets protected to prevent further vandalism. In the mean time, keep monitoring it and let me know if you have any more problems (though you could also do everything I just did) --RichardMills65 (talk) 03:02, 21 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Daniel - everyone deserves a fair shake on wikipedia; AcorsChallis has been banned for their actions. If you have any questions on this, see the SockPuppet FAQ, it should explain why they were banned. --RichardMills65 (talk) 17:16, 23 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
In addition, it looks like AcorsGroup was also banned. If you are an autoconfirmed user, you should still be able to edit this page. Keep in mind guidelines for neutrality dictate that you must cite sources for factual claims made. As always, ask me if you need any help. --RichardMills65 (talk) 17:26, 23 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

vandalism[edit]

I also reverted to the most recent known good version. I would suggest you go and clean up the missing references, as it will be good practice. If you have any questions, drop by my talk page. --RichardMills65 (talk) 03:06, 21 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Death at Yuan Ming Yuan 1860[edit]

Hello I'm sorry for the late reply, as I'm not that often on wikipedia anymore. Hope you found some research about the death of Consort Chang. On the Chinese wikipedia someone has written that Consort Chang died in 1860 when the Yuanmingyuan summer palace was destroyed. When I used a translation machine and asked my mom it kinda says that Consort Chang was frightened to death. It does not say she was killed. She was forgotten when the rest of the imperial family fled to Chengde during the second opium war.

I did find a source, the qing imperial genealogy 清皇室四谱, which has an account of Consort Chang. It says that she died in Xianfeng 10, eight month 23 day. According to conversion her date of death is October 7 1860. The Summer palace I think was burned a few days later but events of looting and destroying were already happening. The imperial genealogy is quite a reliable source as it is a compilation of Qing dynasty records of the royal family.

Regards Teunis
