Danielpimienta, I see that you have tried to offer some partly conciliatory comments at the article's Talk page, acknowledging that you were indeed in breach of the conflict of interest policies. However, I also note a snide tone in reference to my lack of time. Though I owe you no explanations about my schedule, I am heavily involved in other computer-based work, and my current schedule affords me frequent but brief opportunities for Wikipedia activities. First time I answer in my talk page; so, PaleoNeonate pls help me if I am not doing it the right way. @Jeffro77: Definitively you have trouble reading a statement without twisting it! I do try to open a constructive path out if this discussion but in noway I have acknowledged a breach of the COI rules. Read again while breathing! As for my tone your are again misreading, I am just trying to put some good humor to release tension of a heavy discussion. As for your advice on concision I will certainly take it on my writings and kindly return to you an advice of carefulness on your reading so to stop twisting other people words. Whether you formally 'acknowledge' it is unimportant, but you have indicated at the Talk page that you will in future discuss article content at the Talk page rather than making edits against the COI guidelines, and that's what really matters here. @PaleoNeonate: It is disappointing to see no reaction to my post in Talk:Languages_used_on_the_Internet; it seems that few editors are really following up this page. Maybe I should join the WikiProject Internet and try to motivate some more editors? It is still more disappointing to see that this page Wikipedia:Conflict_of_interest/Noticeboard#Languages_used_on_the_Internet has no follow up. I thought people would come and check the case! Your ping did not work because the signature was not part of the same edit (and missing). However, your page was fortunately still on my watchlist. Unfortunately, this is part of the reality of Wikipedia: volunteer editors may not care as much as you do; everyone does what they can with the time they can put. For instance I barely am able to patrol new changes to articles on my watchlist these days. But it's also possible that as you say, not enough people read the article's talk page. In that case, I agree with you that wider audience pages could be used (one at a time to keep discussion centralized, but it's possible to post notices about the discussion at other places). It's not necessary to join a WikiProject to post on its noticeboard, although anyone can also join. If you post at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Internet please remember to specify your relation to MAAYA and that because of that you would like a third party to assess your suggested sources and improve the article; that is proper procedure and will likely be well received by other editors with an interest in the topic. The more specific the request the easier for others to process it, too. Alternatively the main request can be made at the article's talk page, with relevant WikiProjects only notified of it for attention (the {{article links|article}} template is commonly used to provide easy article links to other articles). —Paleo Neonate – 18:49, 1 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
