Duplicate images uploaded[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Lalaah.jpg. A machine-controlled robot account noticed that you also uploaded the same image under the name Image:Lala.jpg. The copy called Image:Lala.jpg has been marked for speedy deletion since it is redundant. If this sounds okay to you, there is no need for you to take any action.

This is an automated message- you have not upset or annoyed anyone, and you do not need to respond. In the future, you may save yourself some confusion if you supply a meaningful file name and refer to 'my contributions' to remind yourself exactly which name you chose (file names are case sensitive, including the extension) so that you won't lose track of your uploads. For tips on good file naming, see Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions about this notice, or feel that the deletion is inappropriate, please contact User:Staecker, who operates the robot account. Staeckerbot 06:14, 2 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Nomination of images relating to the Church of the Sacred Heart, Singapore, for deletion[edit]

Tags have been placed on File:LALA.jpg, File:SacredHeartOld.jpg and File:SHCO.jpg requesting that they be deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done for the following reasons:

You have not provided sufficient information to show that the original photographs are in the public domain or were properly licensed by the copyright holder to Wikipedia. In particular, LALA.jpg, SacredHeartOld.jpg and SHCO.jpg appear to be photographs of existing photographs on exhibition, as reflections and shadows can be seen. In any case, the quality of those images is very poor.

If you can indicate why these images are appropriate, you may contest the tagging. To do this, please go to "Wikipedia:Possibly unfree files/2010 January 22" and leave a note explaining your position. Please do not remove the deletion tags yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the image description pages that would confirm their suitability under the guidelines.

Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. — Cheers, JackLee talk 07:23, 21 January 2010 (UTC) (updated 06:40, 22 January 2010 (UTC))[reply]

File permission problem with images relating to the Church of the Sacred Heart, Singapore[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Detial COlo-new-new.jpg, File:Interior COlo-new-new.jpg and File:Grotto Entrence-new-new.jpg. I noticed that while you provided valid copyright licensing tags, there is no proof that the creator(s) of the files agreed to license them under the given license.

If you created this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

  • make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
  • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here.

If you did not create them entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the files has already given its permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. — Cheers, JackLee talk 06:47, 22 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Possibly unfree File:Detial COlo-new-new.jpg[edit]

A file that you uploaded or altered, File:Detial COlo-new-new.jpg, has been listed at Wikipedia:Possibly unfree files because its copyright status is unclear or disputed. If the file's copyright status cannot be verified, it may be deleted. You may find more information on the file description page. You are welcome to add comments to its entry at the discussion if you are interested in it not being deleted. Thank you. --FASTILYsock(TALK) 05:42, 30 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free image File:SHC.JPG[edit]

⚠

Thanks for uploading File:SHC.JPG. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Stefan2 (talk) 23:58, 7 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
