RFC template

Dear Sir,

I read your article on ExampleRFC. As far as I understand, this template indicates that that an RFC template was incorrect and could not be processed. I was however not able to find an article indicating how the template should be completed. There is an article Template:RFCxxx which gives no clue whatsoever about the basic template.
