Spoilers

[edit]

one of the ma in things you will have to learn about Wikipedia is the spoilers, please look at WP:SPOILER to see why we don't add spoiler alerts anymore. this isn't aplace for fans, this is to fix or create articles with reliable second-third party sources.Bread Ninja (talk) 16:02, 7 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I still think that we should let people (like me) who would like to know more about something of interest, like heavy rain, know if they are about to have the whole plot ruined for them, since a lot of people, including myself, use wikipedia for many different subjects and topics.

No, we wont focus on certain type of people, we are here to any information that is verifiable. people like you should know Wikipedia has spoilersBread Ninja (talk) 16:10, 7 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I'm just saying that as a constant wikipedia user, I'd like some sort of heads up as to what i'm about to read or ruin.

if you were constant, you would know that spoilers alerts are never added. it's not all about a group of people or just one personBread Ninja (talk) 16:16, 7 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Yes i am constant, and would appreciate it if you could take in what i am saying and come to some sort of common ground instead of ignoring and fighting me.

i can't say your right and that we should add spoiler tags, its already a rule not to do so. So even if i agreed with you, there'd be no point.Bread Ninja (talk) 16:20, 7 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

that's all i wanted to know, and will use a different source for game and the like information. was that so hard? debates can really get heated here. You like C&C or Bioshock?

i said that from the beginning when i gave you the link to WP:SPOILER. and no i don't talk about games here. cheers though.Bread Ninja (talk) 16:26, 7 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

meh, didn't feel like looking over a long document of how to do spoilers, i just do little edits here and there when i have the time. don't talk about games here? as in talk pages or just in general or not like/play games?

you didn't even look at it, just three paragraphs long. talk pages are usually for discussing about edits or informing about something. if your looking for spoiler alerts, and game conversations that are not related to the articles structure, then go to wikia. other than that, you should at least read it before you say something that might contradict.Bread Ninja (talk) 16:32, 7 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I just would have liked an alert but now that i have looked over WP:Spoilers and seen that wiki in general doesn't allow spoiler tags. read it as in the WP:Spoilers? don't bite the newbie man.

I'm not biting, I'm just saying if i give you a link, you should at least look to see what it's about to get the idea. newbies need to learn to adapt too, if they don't they're just dead weight. I'll send a welcoming committee to show you most of the rulesBread Ninja (talk) 16:46, 7 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

man, you don't have to take everything so seriously and be so up tight, it's okay to joke around a little, even if this is a professional site, I mean, this is my talk page. bite the newbie was meant not to be so serious, okay?

don't take it so hard. professional site = professional views. next time maybe add a smiley if you want some to know your joking. Also sign your post at the end of your comment with for tildes (~)Bread Ninja (talk) 01:07, 8 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
