Dubious or unsupported claims on Phoenician joints[edit]

Hi there,

I noticed that you introduced some factually dubious information on the Phoenician joints page. Could you please provide full citations where indicated? Some passages lack inline citations (also indicated), and one claim is particularly dubious — the assertion that the Romans had "ZERO" ships. Additionally, this latter articulation is lacking and if supported by sources should be appropriately rephrased.

Finally, I noticed that a big part of your contributions was added to the lead. Please note that the lead section summarizes the article. What you can do is move those to the body of the article and provide a summary in the lead. Note that the lead section does not require referencing and inline citations because it summarizes the article; anything in the body however has to have inline citations.

I see a user has left a set of welcome instructions, please take the time to go over Wikipedia:Citing sources, Wikipedia:Manual of Style/Lead section, ... It would be great if you could address these issues, particularly that this article stands as a Wikipedia Good article. Similar issues, if left unsolved, would lead to the article's status reassessment. Thank you! 88.159.86.206 (talk) 16:33, 10 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
