September 2007[edit]

Please do not add copyrighted material to Wikipedia without permission from the copyright holder, as you did to Foothill Family Church. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously, and persistent violators will be blocked from editing. Recreate the article in your own words and avoid the copy/paste. Spryde 17:25, 6 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I have removed your edit twice now from the Southern Gospel Music page. The link that you are trying to put in must go inot the body of the article and have relavence to what you are trying to add it to. If you need some help please leave a message on my talk page here>[1]. Please do not add this back without discussing it with me first. Thank you Canyouhearmenow 13:16, 8 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, thank you for bringing your question to me. I have included a link here [[2] that will be able to help you put sources into an article. Wikipedia asks that when sourcing it is best for us to use cite web. If you go to this link make sure to drop the bar down and choose URL. Once you do that you then paste in the source you are trying to use and choose your parameters. Just go to the source you want to use and copy the url for that source, bring it back and paste that url in the bar. Once you have hit the ok button you will see that it has put it into a url form. Copy the new url and take it to the article and paste it right behind the period of the material you are trying to source. Be sure to put it at the end of your sentence that contains the material to be sourced. Also, when choosing the parameters for your cite web, make sure to choose the ref tag as well. This will automatically allow it to be put in the reference section in the article which is where you continue to want to type. You are not going to be able to type it in that area because it has all be cite webbed. I hope this was of some help to you and please let me know if you need further help.
