This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Cresta Motor Yachts, and it appears to include a substantial copy of http://crestamotoryachts.com/luxury_Motor_yachts_Aboutus.php. Conflict of interest[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. If you are affiliated with some of the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest. In keeping with Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy, edits where there is a conflict of interest, or where such a conflict might reasonably be inferred, are strongly discouraged. If you have a conflict of interest, you should avoid or exercise great caution when:

  1. editing or creating articles related to you, your organization, or its competitors, as well as projects and products they are involved with;
  2. participating in deletion discussions about articles related to your organization or its competitors; and
  3. linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam).

Please familiarize yourself with relevant policies and guidelines, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, verifiability of information, and autobiographies.

For information on how to contribute to Wikipedia when you have a conflict of interest, please see our frequently asked questions for organizations. Thank you.

You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles. See the Article Wizard.

Thank you.

A tag has been placed on Cresta Motor Yachts, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be unambiguous advertising that only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the general criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 11, as well as the guidelines on spam.

If you can indicate why the subject of this article is not blatant advertising, you may contest the tagging. To do this, please add {{hangon}} on the top of Cresta Motor Yachts and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would help make it encyclopedic, as well as adding any citations from independent reliable sources to ensure that the article will be verifiable. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Clovis Sangrail (talk) 08:58, 11 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Your account has been blocked indefinitely from editing Wikipedia because it appears to be mainly intended or used for publicity and/or promotional purposes. Please read the following carefully.

Why can't I edit Wikipedia?

Your account's edits and/or username indicate that it is being used on behalf of a company, group, or organization for purposes of promotion and/or publicity. The edits may have violated one or more of our rules on spamming, which include: adding inappropriate external links, posting advertisements, and using Wikipedia for promotion. Wikipedia has many articles on companies, groups, and organizations, but it is considered inappropriate for such groups to use Wikipedia to write about themselves. In addition, usernames like yours are disallowed under our username policy.

Am I allowed to make these edits if I change my username?

Probably not. See Wikipedia:FAQ/Organization for a helpful list of frequently asked questions by people in your position. Also, review the conflict of interest guidance to see the kinds of limitations you would have to obey if you did want to continue editing about your company, group, or organization. If this does not fit in with your goals, then you will not be allowed to edit again. Consider using one of the many websites that allow this instead.

What can I do now?

You are still welcome to write about something other than your company or organization. If you do intend to make useful contributions on some other topic, you must convince a Wikipedia administrator that you mean it. To that end, please do the following:

  • Add the text {{unblock-spamun|Your proposed new username|Your reason here}} below this message box.
  • Replace the text "Your proposed new username" with a new username you are willing to use. See Special:Listusers to search for available usernames. Your new username will need to meet our username policy.
  • Replace the text "Your reason here" with your reason to be unblocked. In this reason, you must:
  • Convince us that you understand the reason for your block and that you will not repeat the edits for which you were blocked.
  • Describe in general terms the contributions that you intend to make if you are unblocked.
If you believe this block was made in error, please see how to appeal a block. JohnCD (talk) 13:03, 11 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

Please unblocked my IP address. I edited an article and I found out that I shouldn't, I won't do it again. Now I need to edit some article. Please enable my IP address again. Thank you.

Decline reason:

Unblocking the IP won't help you here - if you use it while the block on this account stands and make the same edits, the IP will be blocked for dodging the block on this account. You should be trying to get this account unblocked and renamed. For that, please read over Wikipedia:Conflict of interest, then use {{unblock-un|<new username here>}} to request an unblock to rename your account. Until then, unblock declined. —Jeremy (v^_^v Dittobori) 06:16, 13 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

This blocked user's request to have autoblock on their IP address lifted has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request.

Seems to me you're mistaking Wikipedia for a marketing platform; promotional material such as that on http://crestamotoryachts.com/luxury_Motor_yachts_Aboutus.php is inappropriate for Wikipedia. --jpgordon::==( o ) 07:13, 13 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
That's better, but I see two things right off the bat that will get the rename request declined:
  1. It's still referring to Cresta Motor Yachts (see WP:Conflict of interest and WP:Username policy)
  2. It implies you are an administrator (again, see WP:Username policy).
Jeremy (v^_^v Dittobori) 06:48, 13 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

But Im going to edit the overall Cresta Motor Yachts article, that is why Im requesting to be unblocked. What should I do? Do I have to request for deletion of the said article?

That's just it; you shouldn't be editing that article. Have you even read Wikipedia:Conflict of interest at all? —Jeremy (v^_^v Dittobori) 07:10, 13 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

I violated Wikipedia rules. I'm sorry for that. But the Cresta Motor Yachts article is requested to have similar content/infromations from the http:www.crestamotoryachts.com , the Cresta's official website. Please allow my IP address to edit articles.

Decline reason:

You CLEARLY do not understand the reason for this block, and multiple admins have made it clear that until you understand WP:COI, you will not be unblocked. More below. (talk→ BWilkins ←track) 09:18, 13 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

As I made the original block, I will leave this unblock request for another administrator to consider, but I would like to emphasis some things you do not seem to understand yet.

  • Wikipedia is an encyclopedia. It is not a notice-board for people to promote their companies.
  • Accounts must be for individuals, not companies or groups.
  • Even if you are allowed to set up an individual account, in regard to Crest Motor Yachts you have a conflict of interest - your interest is different from Wikipedia's, we want a neutral point of view, you want to promote Cresta.
  • That means you will not be allowed to write, or edit, a Cresta article. Read these guidelines:

Abuse of Unblock[edit]

Dear editor, I have now removed talkpage access - this means that you can no longer make unblock requests here. This has been done because of an abuse of the unblock process.

You were blocked for a combination of having a username that represented a company as per WP:U, and that you were using it to either create an article related to that company, and/or adding information or links to that company website to Wikipedia as per WP:SPAM and WP:COI.

Being believers that everyone has something to add to Wikipedia, you were offered the chance to change your username, and therefore return to editing as long as you agreed to not edit / create articles related to you or your company. You clearly and explicitly advised that you wished to continue that practice.

After numerous attempts to have you read and understand WP:COI, you continue to want to WP:SPAM Wikipedia. You will not be unblocked while you still explicitly want to create articles about your company.

Because you have now abused the unblock process, in part by adding multiple unblock requests at the same time (see WP:GAB), you may no longer appeal the block in this manner.

You should be advised that the block applies to you, the person: attempts to edit anonymously, create an new userid, etc would now be considered a violation of WP:EVADE and WP:SOCK (talk→ BWilkins ←track) 09:25, 13 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked from editing your talkpage due to abuse of the unblock process. You may still contest any current block by e-mailing unblock-en-l, but you should read our guide to appealing blocks first.
