Proposed deletion of Raymond Leonard[edit]

The article Raymond Leonard has been proposed for deletion because, under Wikipedia policy, all newly created biographies of living persons must have at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

copyvio concerns[edit]

The continuing concern was close paraphrasing. Authors have copyright not just in the words they use, and the arrangement of the words in a sentence, but in the arrangement of the sentences and the organization of the material--everything that pertains to the expression of their ideas, as distinguished from the ideas themselves. Therefore, we cannot accept such work in Wikipedia--see WP:Close for a fuller explanation.

I first thought of rewriting the article to eliminate the copyvio, but I found the material so pervasive that it was impractical. I therefore deleted the article for a second time. Since he's notable, I started the skeleton of a new article. If you add anything, do so in you own words entirely, And please note that his scientific work is much more significant that his literary work. And also, that we need references providing substantial coverage from 3rd party independent published reliable sources, print or online, but not blogs or press releases, or material derived from press releases.
