License tagging for Image:Poehler-Meyers.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Poehler-Meyers.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 01:08, 12 August 2007 (UTC)

Image Copyright problem

Thank you for uploading Image:Fey-Fallon.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI 01:53, 12 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Little context in SNL: Season 18[edit]

Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on SNL: Season 18, by Escape Orbit (talk · contribs), another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because SNL: Season 18 is very short providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles.

To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting SNL: Season 18, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. --Android Mouse Bot 2 20:43, 13 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

What is this strange word "reperatory"? I wonder if you could possibly mean repertory. Also "Cast Members" should not be capitalised. -- RHaworth 11:07, 15 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Duplicate images uploaded[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:300px-Snl-season25-3.jpg. A machine-controlled robot account noticed that you also uploaded the same image under the name Image:300px-Snl-season25-1.jpg. The copy called Image:300px-Snl-season25-1.jpg has been marked for speedy deletion since it is redundant. If this sounds okay to you, there is no need for you to take any action.

This is an automated message- you have not upset or annoyed anyone, and you do not need to respond. In the future, you may save yourself some confusion if you supply a meaningful file name and refer to 'my contributions' to remind yourself exactly which name you chose (file names are case sensitive, including the extension) so that you won't lose track of your uploads. For tips on good file naming, see Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions about this notice, or feel that the deletion is inappropriate, please contact User:Staecker, who operates the robot account. Staeckerbot 23:45, 18 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Articles have been re-tooled[edit]

I have re-worked and re-edited all of your season articles and left the following message on all the articles' talk pages:

"To Connerb312: I have edited your articles because they do not meet the encyclopedic styles of Wikipedia. Please take more consideration and effort into your articles, and review them carefully for spelling/grammar mistakes or non-sensical statements. Please focus more on general ideas than specifics, and please do not write articles like you are re-counting a personal story or a fairy tale. This will help to meet Wikipedia's guidelines."

And before you complain or criticize, please remember that i just edited THIRTY ARTICLES just enought so that they MAKE SENSE AND ARE NOT BIASED OR OPINIONATED, or NOT RETOLD LIKE A STORY OR FAIRY TALE. So please, try to accept this as constructive criticism and realise the hard work I put in to the articles. - Spyke1077 03:46, 19 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

License tagging for Image:LeBron James-Kanye West.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:LeBron James-Kanye West.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.

For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 23:07, 15 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The article Bronx Beat has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

No indication of Notability.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
