Re: Vandalism Alert[edit]

Just so you know, even anonymous IPs have talk pages. I posted a warning at User talk:194.72.105.222, but did not block him as he had not been warned in relation to his latest actions. If he vandalises again after the warning, however, he will be blocked. — Asbestos | Talk (RFC) 11:42, 20 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Enrico Rastelli on DYK[edit]

Updated DYK query On 3 August, 2006, Did you know? was updated with a fact from the article Enrico Rastelli, which you created. If you know of another interesting fact from a recently created article, then please suggest it on the "Did you know?" talk page.

Ciao! Mhmhm... he has an Italian name and surname, so I guess that he was born in Russia to an Italian family working there. Anyawy, I reverted my format edits without specifying the nationality. Bye.

I've checked some sources. As I had guessed, he was Italian, simply born abroad due to his family trips for work. Bye.--Attilios 09:53, 14 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Your report on AIV[edit]

That is the place to report vandalism. However, generally we request that the user be warned first. Here is the list of warning templates to use. Generally, people need to get an initial warning and then a final warning before they are reported to AIV. --Woohookitty(meow) 10:38, 15 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Juggling Balls[edit]

I just wanted to say thanks for copyediting the Juggling Balls page. Your changes look really great (thanks for making a few of the sections, like "Stage Balls", less POV), though I did change "colour" to "color" (though I wouldn't be opposed to changing each occurence of the word to the British spelling, if that's what people wanted). Anyway, thanks again! Cheers, Rahzel 17:35, 2 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

There seemed to be consensus at the proposal for temporarily upmerging the template to Category:Culture stubs. User:Alai, who helped with the template, suggested populating the template, and in case there were at least 60 stubs, it would get its own Category:Juggling stubs. In case there were less than 60, it should be upmerged to a different category, such as sports stubs or to a "circus-skills-stubs" (which exists, as I understand it, but would have to be reinstated - as you can see, I'm not an expert). The other option (which I didn't like) was to make the template scope broader, e.g. with a "Circus skills" stubs template. So, it's a compromise, but not the worst, in my opinion. —KNcyu38 (talkcontribs) 09:08, 26 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Sounds great to me. I asked User:Alai if that'd be possible. —KNcyu38 (talkcontribs) 10:08, 26 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I reread the proposal discussion and if I interpret it correctly, the template needs a population of 60+ to justify a category in any case, and Cat:Juggling stubs would be parented anyway by Cat:Culture stubs and maybe additionally Cat:Sports stubs (which I endorse). It's weird though, that some of the Categories parented by Culture stubs have less than 60 pages in them, see Cat:Indian dance stubs or Cat:French architect stubs. Maybe they introduced this 60-rule-of-thumb later on, to help with overcategorisation. —KNcyu38 (talkcontribs) 10:34, 26 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
You may want to ask User:Alai. As a substitute, I wonder if there is a way to include the content of a page (not just linking to it) on another page. That way we could include the content of the "what links here" for the stub page into the <noinclude>{{/use}}</noinclude> section, into the /use subpage of the template. I.e. anyone visiting the stub page would immediately see all the transcluded pages. Alternatively, we could just insert a prominent link for "what links here". —KNcyu38 (talkcontribs) 07:23, 27 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Take a look. It's just a first compromise, but there you have all tagged pages on one glance. —KNcyu38 (talkcontribs) 07:33, 27 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
