Wow, Xeno, you really revamped my old school Talk page! I really appreciate it and the advice listed within. I think I am interested in joining one (or several) of the projects for video games. Thanks again! ClosedEyesSeeing (talk) 17:27, 21 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
No problem =) Happy editing. P.S. Those membership boxes usually go on your userpage rather than your talk page. –xeno (talk) 17:29, 21 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks, I'm smooth like that. -.- ClosedEyesSeeing (talk) 17:32, 21 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for reverting[edit]

Thanks for reverting this edit made by me. It was a mistake and I was going to correct it myself, but you have done it already. I was going to revert the earlier edit made by another user, but this edit appeared just before I pressed the revert button, and so it got reverted instead. I have already apologized to that user. Thanks again. Chamal Talk/Sign 15:10, 15 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

No problem! I had figured that was the case, but wasn't too sure. After reading your Talk page I figured you weren't in the habit of being a vandal. ;) ClosedEyesSeeing (talk) 15:12, 15 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Lucky me... First time I messed up like that. Maybe it's time for me to take a wikibreak :D Thanks for signing my guestbook too. Chamal Talk/Sign 16:40, 15 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

spore[edit]

but i still dont get the goal in the space mode? it might not even have a goal it could just show that you have made it to the end of the game.... not saying their is an end.Al1012 (talk) 21:22, 19 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

In the latest Game Informer with the interview with Will Wright he talks about the overall goals. There will be a little bar at the bottom of the screen that dictates the progress towards the goal of that phase (with milestone like goals moving the bar forward). However, I feel that this in the space phase is to allow the player to advance faster by having a goal that might reward in higher DNA points/Resources for the species. I have a feeling that it will be harder to come by when you don't have a main objective to complete. ClosedEyesSeeing (talk) 13:57, 20 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

You're right[edit]

You're right. Look at how these people are baiting me into "uncivil" behavior. I'm going to have to make another call to San Francisco and tell them I'm getting pretty anger at the passive-aggressive tactics by these people. They declare I'm being "uncivil" while being annoyingly officious, as if they own Wikipedia. They ESPECIALLY use this tactic when I'm completely in the right, have evidence, use logical arguments, and they have no other recourse. JAF1970 (talk) 01:02, 22 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Adoption[edit]

I was wondering if you would accept my request to adopt you? I would enjoy taking an editor through the process of wikipedia once again. --LordSunday 17:47, 26 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Alright, I'm going to set up the process. Just give me a mere minute or two. Welcome to my hub! --LordSunday 18:10, 26 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Here we are. --LordSunday 18:12, 26 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Please, that is fine, adoption... is a very patient process. --LordSunday 18:15, 26 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Your adoption page, please. --LordSunday 14:07, 27 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Well, building articles takes on a few stages. There are classes, stub, start, C, B, Good article (GA), A, and Featured article (FA) class articles, in order from bottom to top. If you need any further help with articles have no reason not to ask. What other activities do you enjoy? --LordSunday 14:11, 27 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
(outdent) I've replied at your adoption page. There you will also find my graduation criteria. Cheers, --LordSunday 20:04, 29 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Rollback[edit]

I've given you rollback. Please remember that it shouldn't be used in edit wars or for good-faith edits. You can test it out here. Use it wisely. bibliomaniac15 05:07, 28 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Your rollback request[edit]

Hi! I regret that I must inform you that your request for the rollback permission has been denied. You can discover why by checking the archives at Wikipedia:Requests for permissions/Denied/August 2008#ClosedEyesSeeing. SoxBot X (talk) 08:00, 28 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Link Addition/Reversion Clarification[edit]

Hi ClosedEyesSeeing,

Thanks for your usual diligence on Wikipedia.

Recently I noticed you reverted an attempt at adding a link to an article titled "Hetchins Bicycles: Meticulously Lugged." Could you please tell me why you did this, given the external link represents a uniquely comprehensive timeline of the Hethcins company? Would the link have been acceptable without the MyByk reference?

http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Hetchins&oldid=236043237

Sincere thanks in advance for the clarification.

Regards, Anonymous --71.139.193.132 (talk) 17:55, 3 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Wow, that was my mistake. It seemed like the MyByk reference was populating faster than normal (there is pattern with people changing/adding references to personal websites/ad websites). I apologize for this and I'll revert my change. Also, I know of others that were reverting as well, I'll review the changes. --  ClosedEyesSeeing  (Speak) 19:03, 3 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
