With regard to the first line, maybe you meant trader, not trapper? Clearcontent

I think either would be appropriate, since (at least according to his autobiography) he did both. His first job was tanning pelts, but seemed to be primarily a trapper after that. --TeaDrinker 01:28, 24 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

In regards to the note you left on my page I would ask you to familiarize yourself with Wikipedia:Verifiability (when adding information, use reliable sources rather than "I live in Italy and that's how they say it"), Wikipedia:Assume good faith (we're here to make an encyclopedia not to present misinformation. No one is harassing you by reverting edits or removing speedy delete tags), and Wikipedia:No personal attacks (name-calling. For the record I am neither British nor American). Oh, I'm really sorry and I apologize if my words seemed somewhat personal. I do not know you personally, it's the first time I meet you as a Wikiuser, so, please believe me, there is nothing personal. I just was upset that the first time you reverted my edit you missed to contact me. I really see no personal attack. There are many ways to flag an article for attention. Placing a speedy delete tag means an editor thinks the article should be deleted immediate for very specific criteria. Even a blatant lie/mistruth is not a criteria for speedy deletion. If you disagree with an article you can place a {{disputed}} tag on it and explain in the talk section why. Re per capita[edit]

I'm not harrassing you. You are adding something to Wikipedia that is not correct. You have been rather unfriendly to people trying to correct a mistake you have made. If you want to make changes to Wikipedia you are more than welcome, but you will have to live with other people editing your contributions, especially if they are faulty. If we want to use Latin words and terms in English, we should respect the traditions and the history of a nation aged 2500 years; in other words we should use the words in their original form, meaning and context. I admit that it usually happens. This is the first time I see such a big mistake. It would be preferable to use personal income, for person, for head and so on. After all, those articles do not cite sources, and I really believed they were just the result of some unwanted editing mistakes. Also, please do not forget WP:BITE. Hi, Clearcontent, the policy you are looking for is WP:NPA (Wikipedia:No personal attacks). The user in question has just been warned about this here, by TeaDrinker. If you continue to have problems with this user, remember to remain cool. However if the situation gets out of hand, you should make a report to the noticeboard for this.
