Invitation to subscribe to the edit filter mailing list
[edit]Hi, as a user in the edit filter manager user group we wanted to let you know about the new wikipedia-en-editfilters mailing list. As part of our recent efforts to improve the use of edit filters on the English Wikipedia it has been established as a venue for internal discussion by edit filter managers regarding private filters (those only viewable by administrators and edit filter managers) and also as a means by which non-admins can ask questions about hidden filters that wouldn't be appropriate to discuss on-wiki. As an edit filter manager we encourage you to subscribe; the more users we have in the mailing list the more useful it will be to the community. If you subscribe we will send a short email to you through Wikipedia to confirm your subscription, but let us know if you'd prefer another method of verification. I'd also like to take the opportunity to invite you to contribute to the proposed guideline for edit filter use at WP:Edit filter/Draft and the associated talk page. Thank you! EFM to EFH conversion
[edit]Hello Chriswaterguy, I was doing some routine access cleanups and saw you had an old flag (edit filter manager) for filter viewing, this was replaced with a new flag (edit filter helper) a few years ago and we must have overlooked you. You may have received an echo notification for this change, nothing to worry about!. If you no longer need private filter viewing access, feel free to drop me a note and I'll remove it. Best regards, — xaosflux Talk 01:22, 2 December 2019 (UTC)
I see you edit International Development articles
[edit]I just wanted to let you know that there is a draft article on Axel van Trotsenburg, current Managing Director of Operations of the World Bank. Since I see you have contributed to International Development articles, I think this might be of interest to you. Can you please take a look at it? Thanks!! Indic Script consensus
[edit]Please kindly read my discussion under User_talk:Javierfv1212#Replacing_Devanagari_with_Brahmi and User_talk:Symphing12#Aṣṭādhyāyī and maybe let's begin anew a talk about consesus on using Indic Scripts, because I think those contained in Wikipedia_talk:Noticeboard_for_India-related_topics/Archive_48#Native_languages_in_lead (re:lead)] and Wikipedia_talk:Noticeboard_for_India-related_topics/Archive_64#Multiple_Indicscript_in_infoboxes_are_out_of_control (re:infobox) are dated. noychoH (talk) 21:45, 25 October 2023 (UTC)

[edit]Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. Regarding your edits to Violet CoCo, please use the preview button before you save your edit; this helps you find any errors you have made and prevents clogging up recent changes and the page history, as well as helping prevent edit conflicts. Below the edit box is a Show preview button. Pressing this will show you what the page will look like without actually saving it.
It is strongly recommended that you use this before saving. If you have any questions, contact the help desk for assistance. Thank you. - Sumanuil. (talk to me) 06:35, 1 February 2024 (UTC)
- I am familiar with the preview button, and used it in this case as I have been doing for 19 years. The edits were as intended.
- There were a lot of different edits, made with care, with explanatory edit comments in each case. You rolled them back entirely without an edit comment.
- There appears to be a misunderstanding, and I have no idea what your intentions and misapprehensions were. Please note Help:Edit summary#Always provide an edit summary (consensus policy) in future. Chriswaterguy talk 12:35, 27 April 2024 (UTC)
- Just be more careful and double-check next time. You were "fixing" file names and references. - Sumanuil. (talk to me) 19:59, 27 April 2024 (UTC)
ArbCom 2024 Elections voter message
[edit]Hello! Voting in the 2024 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 2 December 2024. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.
The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
If you wish to participate in the 2024 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}}
to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:05, 19 November 2024 (UTC)
