Speedy deletion of Chief Jotty[edit]

A tag has been placed on Chief Jotty requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Speedy deletion of Mahmahland[edit]

This has been done under section G1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to have no meaningful content or history, and the text is unsalvageably incoherent. You did delete it, but it was quickly restored - deletion of someone's userpage is an act of vandalism, as has been pointed out to you already. Creating a nonsense article is also vandalism, and the speedy deletion of such an article is perfectly justified. If I hadn't done so, any of a thousand other admins would have done so. I would advise you to read Wikipedia:User page and Wikipedia:What is an article? and note the difference between the two. Grutness...wha? 00:33, 16 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
