Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, please do not add promotional material to articles or other Wikipedia pages, as you did to Bill Brady (Illinois politician). Advertising and using Wikipedia as a "soapbox" are against Wikipedia policy and not permitted. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Wikipedia editing requires that you adhere to the neutral point of view. Pasting over other editors' more balanced statements is especially unproductive and simply makes it difficult to tell any valid points you may have when others decide whether to leave some of your contributions or simply back them all out. In addition, cutting and pasting talking points from Democratic publications is likely to get you banned for copyright violation. --Closeapple (talk) The content I put in was primarily taken from IL bills and votes Mr Brady cast and was not partisan or advertising -- your assertion is false. I am a Fortune 500 communications professional that has recognition as a writer from some of the US most prestigious schools including Harvard and Northwestern. I am an independent voter and was not part of any parties campaign, nor did I contribute to any of them. I was attempting to correct the partisan spin that was the entry for Mr Brady at Wikipedia. It certainly had to have been written by a member of his campaign staff or someone committed to the cause of promoting Mr Brady. My objective was to take out the biased propaganda elements that were, at minimum, highly subjective analysis, in the existing entry (hence, the reason I edited some content) and add information on Mr Brady's voting record, which was missing from the existing page -- I provided the names of the bills or items for all the votes I referenced. The original, and I believe, what remains the current page, is very overtly biased in many places, contains subjective analysis that one might consider rationalizations and certainly against the very mission of Wikipedia to remain. It remains, at many points, a propaganda piece.
