Some cookies to welcome you!

Welcome to Wikipedia, Cheng Ch'eng-kung! I am Dougweller and have been editing Wikipedia for quite some time. I just wanted to say hi and welcome you to Wikipedia! If you have any questions, feel free to leave me a message on my talk page or by typing {{helpme}} at the bottom of this page. I love to help new users, so don't be afraid to leave a message! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Oh yeah, I almost forgot, when you post on talk pages you should sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); that should automatically produce your username and the date after your post. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and ask your question there. Again, welcome!

You might be interested[edit]

I've been dealing with a blocked and uncommunicative editor for some time, who has been using various IDs to edit Yongle and Ming related articles. See for instance [1] - if you look at article histories you will often see comments from me about his various accounts. Nice to see a new editor involved in this area. Edit summaries[edit]

Could you take a look at WP:Edit summaries. They are considered pretty important as they give other editors an insight into the reason for the edit. I'll admit that where there is no edit summary I tend to look closely at the edit. Another question, do you keep a WP:Watchlist? They are very handy. Could you please respond to this? Thanks. Dougweller (talk) 11:28, 11 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

File copyright problem with File:Liu Ji1.jpg[edit]

Thank you for uploading File:Liu Ji1.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. ww2censor (talk) 04:10, 13 January 2010 (UTC) This is really pretty pathetic. I treated you with Good Faith, all you had to do was use edit summaries, references, and communicate. Wikipedia is a collaborative effort and your failure to cooperate is part of what got you blocked originally. Dougweller (talk) 14:27, 16 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
