You will note from the above section that this particular article was draftified last week but they have moved it back without actually addressing the issues. @Sitush: Thank you. I did not see the earlier review. Based on that I tried to move the article back to draft space however the older article is blocking it. I noted a source which I think is germane to this topic "The Scheduled Tribes of Assam." Hindustan Times (New Delhi, India). 2009. HighBeam Research. (March 7, 2018). link| which I can integrate if indeed it is. A quick look also gives [1] [2] so I can at least turn it into a sourced stub. The question I have, which you may know, is whether this is properly a topic in Bodoland? It seems that Bodoland is tied to a single ethnicity while this is not but Indian political anthropology is not my thing. Jbh ^Talk 14:33, 14 March 2018 (UTC)

I know very little about Assam, sorry. I just find myself fire-fighting Assamese-centric contributors, including loads of socks. Hill tribes of Northeast India

I have undone your changes to this article because they seemed to present a personal point of view that is not supported by the cited sources. E.g. "The hills were actually the homeland of the Austro-Dravidian tribes" (when? who was there before them?) "The hill tribes were later on tricked by the Mainland Indians and the Central Govt to separate from Assam. Slowly the hill people who were all historically, culturally, ethnically etc connected to the rest of indigenous communities of Assam ..." (This is not what the sources say at all).
