Autoreviewer

Hi Captmondo, I just came across one of your articles at newpage patrol, and was surprised to see that an editor who has been contributing articles since 2005 hadn't already been approved as an wp:Autoreviewer. So I've taken the liberty of rectifying that. I also noticed you revert quite a bit of vandalism, would you like Rollback? If so just have a read of wp:rollback and tell me when you would and wouldn't use it. ϢereSpielChequers 18:24, 17 February 2010 (UTC)

Hello there:
Thanks for adding me as an autoreviewer -- I wasn't previously aware of that function, so I hadn't asked about it. I will definitely be able to verify the articles for others under the domain of my knowledge that I am comfortable with. As for rollback, I would certainly use it for obvious cases of vandalism (page blanks, editing tests, etc.) in cases where one or more successive edits from a single user on an article has happened. I clearly wouldn't use it in cases where there have been multiple edits from several users in a case where rollback might remove "good" content that has been added to an article after an act of vandalism, since the good would be taken out along with the bad.
Cheers! Captmondo (talk) 18:51, 17 February 2010 (UTC)
OK I've done that, by the way as well as reverting other people's vandalism, it is OK to rollback your own mistakes. ϢereSpielChequers 19:02, 17 February 2010 (UTC)
Understood, and thanks! Captmondo (talk) 19:04, 17 February 2010 (UTC)

Dynasty changeover

Thank you for the reference and information about how Egyptian dynasties changed. It will take a while, but I will look into this and add something to the article on Egyptian dynasties. Wakablogger2 (talk) 05:22, 24 February 2010 (UTC)

Kiya

Hey Captain, I replied to your talk on my talk page -- tho I've been moonlighting in Wikipedia for a couple years, I still don't really know much about this behind-the-scenes stuff. Thuvan Dihn (talk) 20:29, 24 February 2010 (UTC)
