Welcome to Wikipedia!

Hello Captain ginyu, and welcome to Wikipedia! The first thing you should know is that we encourage you to be bold. Feel free to edit and improve articles, by clicking any 'edit' link.

If you'd like to test what Wikipedia can do, check out the sandbox - just type and save the page and your text will appear. That's the beauty of a Wiki.

For more information check out our tutorial - it's designed with newcomers in mind, as is the help section. If you'd like to get involved with current projects, have a look at the Community Portal. There are always tasks for users to do, ranging from copyediting to expanding stubs.

I hope you'll enjoy your time here, but be warned, it can become addictive! Feel free to message me, I'm more than happy to help. As an added tip, sign any message you post so users know that you've said it. To do so is delightfully simple, just use the wikicode ~~~~. Aloha, please accept this WikiWelcome Lei as a welcoming gift for your arrival to Wikipedia.

Once again, welcome! ¡Dustimagic! (T/C) 00:39, 26 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, the article was tagged with cleanup. From the article, it needs wikification, (making links), and needs spaces between punctuation. Let me know if you require assistance. :) GfloresTalk 19:01, 28 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]
You create 'links' by placing sorrounding a word with [[ ]]. So, if you type this [[computer]], it turns into a link (computer). Note, this is different that an external link, which is a site with a url... http://www.example.org. I'll do some minor linking on the article to help you out. Respect Thread Conversions

[edit]

I'm looking for folks to help convert Respect Threads to wiki formatting on Project Fanboy: WikiFans. Respect Threads, showcase scans of feats performed by comic book characters and have gained an audience on several comic book message boards. A few other wiki editors and myself are trying to convert them from the unprofessional look of a bunch of posts on a message board to the formatting common with WikiMedia wiki's. To view an example of what we're doing, here is a link to Respect Silver Surfer.

I was wondering if you might have time to contribute your comic book knowledge and/or scans of comic book characters performing feats, and help us out with our Respect Articles project?Millennium Cowboy (talk) 02:32, 27 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
