Hi Jim1138

Read you message about changes to the Original Night Stalker page, not sure to what you meant when you said "change content without citing", the changes I made were to clarify and correct grammar to section I added earlier. I cited the source of the information (4. Crompton, Larry (August 2, 2010). Sudden Terror. ISBN 1452052417.), could you please expand on what the issue was with the edit.

Significant information needs to wp:cite wp:reliable sources (RS). Adding references is how we ensure that content is correct. Without references, there is no presumption of accuracy. This is described in wp:verifiablity (WP:V). If a source does not use "6th grade rant" in some form, then that should not be used in the article. Even if it is obviously a rant. Doing so may be considered wp:synthesis. Use of one's own knowledge is wp:original research. Wikipedia should not contain original information. Everything substantial should be sourced. If you have the page number for your reference, please add it to the citation. See template:cite book. Use field "|page=" or "|pages=". It can be difficult reusing a multiply reference citation with different page numbers. You may want to just copy the citation to your new edit. Remove the "name=" component or you might get an error. If you replace that citation, cluebot probably won't warn you again. Be sure to leave a detailed wp:edit summary so that others can understand your reasoning. It can be easy to misinterpret your edit, an ES will give a reviewer information on what to look for. I did a quick check of the LA mag article and didn't see "rant" which suggests WP:POV.
