September 2018[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Mattythewhite. I noticed that you made one or more changes to an article, Jamille Matt, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Please stop adding unsourced content, as you did on Pádraig Amond. This violates Wikipedia's policy on verifiability. If you continue to do so, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Mattythewhite (talk) 19:40, 6 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Stats updates[edit]

Hi, please ensure that you update the timestamp in the infobox of football players. You can do this by updating the pcupdate field with five tildes (~) which will auto-generate the date for you. This is done to show other users when the infobox was last updated. Thanks. Kosack (talk) 09:19, 14 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

October 2018[edit]

Stop icon This is your only warning; if you vandalize Wikipedia again, as you did at Joe Maguire, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Unsourced. Mattythewhite (talk) 15:06, 20 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Infobox dates[edit]

Hello, I'm Mattythewhite. Welcome to Wikipedia! I just wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions was not quite right. When updating statistics within the infobox of a footballer, please make sure you update the timestamp at the same time, so that both readers and fellow editors know when the information was last updated.

You can do this by replacing the existing timestamp within the |club-update= or |pcupdate= parameter for club stats, or the |nationalteam-update= or |ntupdate= parameter for international stats, by adding five tildes (~~~~~), which generates the specific time the update was made.

If you have any questions about this, feel free to leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you, Mattythewhite (talk) 15:33, 20 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Stats updates[edit]

Please can you ensure that you update the timestamp in the infobox of football players when you update their stats, to indicate the date as at which the stats are correct. You can do this by updating the pcupdate field with five tildes (~) which will auto-generate the date for you. You have now been asked multiple times to do this but are still not doing it, which means that you are essentially introducing false information into players' articles. -- ChrisTheDude (talk) 20:48, 18 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Stats updates[edit]

Please ensure you update the club update field when updating players' stats. You have been asked repeatedly to do this, yet you continue to ignore. Kosack (talk) 14:57, 9 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Please remember to update the club-update field. Simply replace the existing date with five tildes (~) which will auto-generate the current date and time for you. Kosack (talk) 20:56, 19 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Apologies for reverts[edit]

Hi there - in the recent past I mass reverted your edits. I should not have done that - whilst there might have been issues with some of your edits, I should not have undertaken a blanket revert, and should have taken more care to look at each individual edit, for example to see if I could improve it. For that I apologise. It might not seem it, but I am here to help - so please ask if you need anything. Sorry once again. GiantSnowman 09:43, 14 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Time stamps[edit]

I can count five occasions above when you were asked to update the timestamp in a player's infobox when you update their stats, but once again today you have not done so, so I will ask for a sixth time - can you PLEASE update the timestamp at the bottom of the infobox when you update their stats. Unfortunately if you continue to fail to do so you may well be blocked from editing -- ChrisTheDude (talk) 21:22, 19 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]
