User talk:Caccia~enwiki
Welcome!
[edit]Hello, Caccia~enwiki, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:
- The five pillars of Wikipedia
- How to edit a page
- Help pages
- Tutorial
- How to write a great article
- Manual of Style
I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}}
on your talk page and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Again, welcome! Someone has brought up a disagreement with some of your revisions on the talk page of Oboe da caccia. If you could respond at Talk:Oboe da caccia (bottom of the page), that would be great. Welcome, and thanks for your contributions. I also edit early music articles, and am an administrator here, so if you have any questions feel free to ask me. `Mak (talk) 18:52, 1 October 2006 (UTC)
Received your email -- you can use my "discussion" page http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User_talk:Badagnani if you like in the future. Welcome to Wikipedia and you'll find many people with similar interests all working toward a common goal. We all have our own specialties and can build on one another's work. Hope you enjoy it. Red vs Blue
[edit]In case you're curious, a red link means there's never been any edits, so nothing is there. Your name is red because your user page (not this one, the talk page) is blank with no history. You might want to put some stuff about yourself on it, and welcome to Wikipedia :) ♫ Melodia Chaconne ♫ 11:11, 2 October 2006 (UTC)
Thanks for all the help to a newbee! Caccia 10:54, 4 October 2006 (UTC)
Caccia pieces by others
[edit]It's an excellent idea. Do you mean to actually create articles on those works? I never heard of them, but if you know something you could add pages. Otherwise just list the works under "works for caccia." Perhaps all known works calling for caccia could be listed. By the way, do you want to put something on your user page so people will know something about you? One way to do it is to go to some other user pages and "cannibalize" their code, altering it to fit you. Badagnani 11:35, 24 October 2006 (UTC)
Your account will be renamed
[edit]Hello,
The developer team at Wikimedia is making some changes to how accounts work, as part of our on-going efforts to provide new and better tools for our users like cross-wiki notifications. These changes will mean you have the same account name everywhere. This will let us give you new features that will help you edit and discuss better, and allow more flexible user permissions for tools. One of the side-effects of this is that user accounts will now have to be unique across all 900 Wikimedia wikis. See the announcement for more information.
Unfortunately, your account clashes with another account also called Caccia. To make sure that both of you can use all Wikimedia projects in future, we have reserved the name Caccia~enwiki that only you will have. If you like it, you don't have to do anything. If you do not like it, you can pick out a different name. If you think you might own all of the accounts with this name and this message is in error, please visit Special:MergeAccount to check and attach all of your accounts to prevent them from being renamed.
Your account will still work as before, and you will be credited for all your edits made so far, but you will have to use the new account name when you log in.
Sorry for the inconvenience.
Yours,
Keegan Peterzell
