Suggestions for WikiHobbit

[edit]

Is it a characteristic of WikiHobbit (Hobbits are called Halflings by non-Hobbits) to take umbrage at interference from people not cognisant with the topic? Particularly those who assess articles as lacking in notability, when they are ignorant of the context to which an article belongs? Wikipedians living in smaller English-speaking countries sometimes find articles relating to specialist topics on their own countries tagged for deletion by Americans (saving your presence). It seems to me that parochialism would fit the WikiHobbit profile perfectly—Hobbits don't like Big Folk interfering in the Shire. Topical parochialism (e.g. devotion to folk music, artificial languages etc) would also fit this category.

I suspect WikiHobbits would favour the abolition of the Low Importance tag, and replacing it with a Specialist Interest tag.
