@Wwew345t In at least one case, there was participation in the AfD. —C.Fred (talk) 03:37, 5 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
From the nom himself- Wwew345t (talk) 11:14, 5 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
@Wwew345t Tell me how that's true of either Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Sophie Clarke (3rd nomination) or Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Tina Wesson (2nd nomination). —C.Fred (talk) 11:42, 5 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
I wasnt talking about them i was talking about tysons page Wwew345t (talk) 11:52, 5 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
There was 0 particpation from anyone other then the nominater Wwew345t (talk) 11:52, 5 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
I would also like to point out that almodt every time more then 2 people attended a afd on a survivor winner page the page was kept Tom Westman Michele Fitzgerald and Jeremy Collins (who is on his way to being kept a 2nd time) Wwew345t (talk) 11:56, 5 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
@Wwew345t You didn't mention Tyson's page. And given your history—which is a parade of recreating deleted articles—it's hard to know which article you were talking about when you didn't specify in your comment. —C.Fred (talk) 11:59, 5 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
I get that and perhapes i should have brought this up the first time wouldve saved everyone some trouble im a little worried the afc will be rejected because the content of the page hasnt changed even though the problem with the page wasnt the content but the sources Wwew345t (talk) 12:04, 5 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Good day, my message is about a page I see you helped revert edits and add protection to before, back in 2023, 2020, and 2017. The page is https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vanessa_O%27Brien.

It looks like on January 17, 2025, a user made nine separate edits to delete years and years of updates made to this page, all which had sources, that have been added to this page over a 12-year period by a multitude of Wikipedia users. I understand anyone in the world can edit a Wikipedia page, but to delete so much of its content that many users have contributed to since 2013 was surprising to see be done.

In addition, the fact that this user re-wrote content to label the individual as an "extreme tourist" seems a little distorted, as it ignores all the updates to this page that other Wikipedia editors have made for 12 years about the work this individual has done on multiple research and scientific projects, on contributing to studies measuring the human brain in space, and in climbing and leading expeditions around the world, all which were deleted from the page by that user for some unknown reason.

Thank you very much for your time. Native2050 (talk) 04:59, 10 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Hi again. My apologies, but I forget to mention in my first message to you that after seeing such large edits to this page, I checked the Talk page and saw no discussion by AirshipJungleman29 that so much content would be deleted and that this person would be redefined as an "extreme tourist." Wasn't it policy for AirshipJungleman29 to post their thoughts and reasoning about making such expansive edits in the Talk page first before actually doing it to see what other past editors of this page had to say about it?
I've made a few updates to this page over the past few years after I saw this person on TV programs and online talking about scientific expeditions to help with climate change initiatives and other exploration expeditions in the sea and space where science experiments were conducted, and it does not seem fair that one Wikipedia editor could redefine what this person has accomplished as simply "extreme tourism."
Calling this person an extreme tourist just feels targeted, and I see this page has been hijacked multiple times in the past, and even most recently in November of last year that ended up with derogatory edits being made with no sources. It just feels that removing a decade worth of updates and replacing everything with a heading like Extreme Tourist ignores what this person has done with science that has nothing to do with tourism.
I'd also be happy to spend some time and clean up this page and find more sources if it was reverted back to before all those edits on January 17. I'm happy to help contribute.
Just wanted to see if there is anything you can do to help as I've seen you helped in the past when I browsed the history of this page. Thank you for your time. Native2050 (talk) 15:30, 14 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, thanks for the message, no, it's not an infinitated user, but a user who has two still active two users who also contributes as an IP. A greeting. LukeWiller (talk) 12:25, 13 February 2025 (UTC).[reply]
