Sikhs in Portugal[edit]

Hi, thanks for all your help on Sikh demographics, I see we have the same passion :) As per Portugal, there are 35,000 Sikhs as per Indian Embassy in Portugal. I'm personally convinced there are 50k as per 2023 now. Lisbon and Albufeira Nagar Kirtans had a lot of people, unfortunately many are undocumented. Here is the reference. If possible if you see where this number or other figures aren't updated please can you correct. Thankss [1]--Jattlife121 (talk) 17:38, 5 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I will keep an eye out. Thanks for your support and contributions. I really appreciate your efforts to add detail to pages about the Sikh diaspora and Sikhi in general, many of which need a ton of work. :) ButtahDawg (talk) 00:26, 6 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
No problem. I've also @ on the Sikh discussion page where its starting to become active again after a long time. Lots of stuff will be posted on there. I think Sikhism by country page #1 aim is to get a new map updated from 2004. Jattlife121 (talk) 15:34, 6 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Hi guys, nice to meet you both. You may have noticed my new section in Sikhism by Country. I have noticed the USA estimate has been removed however aha do we have a new estimate for the US as I think the way you estimated Punjabi to Sikh ratio was really credible. I aim to provide more contributions on Sikh demographics as a professional data analyst that specialises in maps, do let me know if you need any visualisations made. I have uploaded one on 'Sikhs' under demographics as example. Can I ask the figures for Cyprus, who found those figures and is there any official source behind it?! BritishSikh (talk) 14:23, 25 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Also guys under 'Sikh' page at the start can we change the Singapore figure to latest census results as I sited in sikhism by country (above 20k i believe)  :) BritishSikh (talk) 14:35, 25 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Please ignore my last comment the latest figure is 12,051 no need to change haha BritishSikh (talk) 14:40, 25 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Your improvements to this page are very impressive, you have really modernised the page, however on 29th November 2022 the religious part of 2021 census will be released so you will have to completely change it again, the estimate of Sikhs in 2022 is about 850,000 this increase is due to migration from italy which now has about 20,000 sikhs (Down from 70,000) and India. so there is a lot of work to do SirSpyro45 (talk) 12:31, 24 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Also about 60,000 immigrants from Afghanistan. SirSpyro45 (talk) 12:34, 24 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you, I will update the page when the census results are released.
