Temple Belwood

I'm having trouble understanding, from this article, what the subject is- is it a state? a village? a building? a cowshed? a synagogue? a person? Not knowing what it is, I'm having trouble determining whether or not this subject meets Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion in the encyclopedia.
