Create the article in userspace[edit]

If you like, I can restore Critical Links in your userspace, and you can improve it there. Then, when you think you're fixed the problems that caused it to be deleted in the first place, you can get a second opinion about whether you should move the page back into article space. --SarekOfVulcan (talk) 21:15, 19 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed deletion of Critical-Links (disambiguation)[edit]

The article Critical-Links (disambiguation) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Firm with a weak assertion of notability.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the Proposed Deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The Speedy Deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and Articles for Deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.  Blanchardb -MeMyEarsMyMouth- timed 03:52, 24 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Edgebox (disambiguation), requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done for the following reason:

Duplicates Critical-Links (disambiguation).

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not meet basic Wikipedia criteria may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as an appropriate article, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is appropriate, you may contest the tagging. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the page and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this.  Blanchardb -MeMyEarsMyMouth- timed 03:54, 24 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

August 2009[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but you removed a speedy deletion tag from Critical-Links (disambiguation), a page you have created yourself. If you do not believe the page should be deleted, you can place a {{hangon}} tag on the page, under the existing speedy deletion tag (please do not remove the speedy deletion tag), and make your case on the page's talk page. Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do with the page. Thank you. -- Blanchardb -MeMyEarsMyMouth- timed 04:18, 24 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Because Wikipedia uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by most search engines. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you.   — Jeff G. (talk|contribs) 04:25, 24 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop. If you continue to introduce inappropriate pages to Wikipedia, you will be blocked from editing. Shadowjams (talk) 04:47, 24 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

My apologies for messing up. I will do whatever is necessary to correct the situation. I also request you to consider keeping Critical Links' wiki page. Best SMB product at the TMC Internet Telephony awards is definitely not a trivial achievement, as it is the biggest award in the IP Telephony realm. The company also has won quite a few accolades as a "Green" product. Critical Links also has strategic partnerships with Intel and Polycom. It is also the market leader in school server products in Southern Europe.

Creating Pages[edit]

When you create a new page, do not create multiple versions of the same page and do not create "disambiguation" pages that have content. You have done this at least 3 times by my count, and it's becoming disruptive. If you create an article, please do so, but then focus on that article. Creating the same article in multiple places is against policy, and problematic. If the page you created is nominated for deletion, please address those issues on the appropriate discussion page for that issue (the link is at the top of the page). But do not remove templates, which only serve to inform users of the impending discussion. Shadowjams (talk) 04:55, 24 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

My sincere apologies. I was just trying to do a redirect to the correct page. I made a mistake while doing it. Please let me know how I can correct the situation. Buckheit (talk) 20:15, 24 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

No problem. I've fixed the pages, but in the future, to create a redirect, use the #R button at the top, or the following code: #REDIRECT [[Target page name]] Shadowjams (talk) 22:00, 24 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

AfD nomination of Critical Links[edit]

An editor has nominated one or more articles which you have created or worked on, for deletion. The nominated article is Critical Links. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also Wikipedia:Notability and "What Wikipedia is not").

Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion(s) by adding your comments to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Critical Links (2nd nomination). Please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate.

Please note: This is an automatic notification by a bot. I have nothing to do with this article or the deletion nomination, and can't do anything about it. --Erwin85Bot (talk) 01:48, 1 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

File Copyright problem

Thank you for uploading File:CRITICAL Logo.png. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. J Milburn (talk) 16:59, 1 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Nomination of Critical Links for deletion[edit]

A discussion is taking place as to whether the article Critical Links is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Critical Links (3rd nomination) until a consensus is reached, and anyone is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.

Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion notice from the top of the article. Rusf10 (talk) 23:31, 16 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed.
