[edit]Hello, I'm Denniss. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to 10.5 cm K gepanzerte Selbstfahrlafette have been undone because they did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the help desk. Thanks. Denniss (talk) 07:59, 23 October 2019 (UTC)

[edit]December 2020
[edit]Hello, I'm Elizium23. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Milana Vayntrub, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Please read WP:RS/IMDb. IMDb is not a reliable source. Elizium23 (talk) 17:50, 19 December 2020 (UTC)

[edit]Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at Panzer II, you may be blocked from editing. I explained multiple times your changes are completely wrong but you chose to ignore that. That's already above edit warring and borders vandalism Denniss (talk) 16:22, 12 February 2021 (UTC)
On using photos as sources
[edit]Photos are routinely mis-identified, either in the records attached to them, or in material added to them in subsequent prints. As an example of the latter, see this photo; when printed as a postcard, it was mis-identified as SMS Elsass, but is in reality a Prinz Adalbert-class cruiser. The USN archives available through history.navy.mil is rife with errors that I've had to correct over the years. This is why we cannot just take a photo that purports to be something and take it at face value, as there is no real fact checking. Parsecboy (talk) 20:17, 11 March 2021 (UTC)
If you have an issue with the factuality of the photo caption, please describe the basis for your dispute.Brucelucier (talk) 02:43, 12 March 2021 (UTC)
- Consider this your last warning; if you revert me again, I'll report you for edit-warring. Parsecboy (talk) 10:03, 12 March 2021 (UTC)
- This is exactly why we don't source material to photos. An actual naval historian, Norman Polmar, states that Mississippi operated a Hanriot HD.1, not a Sopwith Camel, during the 1919 maneuvers. Either the photo in question is actually USS Texas (which did operate a Camel at that time) or it's not a Camel. If you had bothered to look for a source instead of trying to force your way, you'd have realized that you are, at least in part, wrong. Parsecboy (talk) 13:30, 12 March 2021 (UTC)

[edit]Unblock Request
[edit]Received notice that I could log in to Wikipedia Library, but login does not accept my login, and you have locked me out as indicated in italicized text below. Please reverse block. Thank you.
Auto-creation of a local account failed: Your account or IP address has been blocked. 2607:FB90:0:0:0:0:0:0/32, you have been blocked by AmandaNP until 17:58, 13 January 2023, because: Long-term abuse: Due to abuse from this IP range, anonymous/logged-out editing has been temporarily blocked. Please refer to the guide for assistance.. What can I do now? You can email AmandaNPor another administrator(list) to contest the block. Brucelucier (talk) 04:46, 9 October 2022 (UTC)
- Unfortunately, I can't release this block. You are obviously not the target of the block, but if I were to undo it, it would flood Wikipedias with vandalism and sockpuppets in an extreme degree. Normally I would just create this local account for you at whatever wiki it is, but I don't know how to do that for the Wikipedia library. As it says in their FAQ
If your account is blocked on one or more Wikimedia projects, you may still be granted access to The Wikipedia Library. You will need to contact the Wikipedia Library team, who will review your blocks.
You can do that at one of the methods listed at WP:LIBRARY. The other option is to try from a different internet connection that is not IP blocked if you want immediate access. -- Amanda (she/her) 08:14, 9 October 2022 (UTC)- It says you created the block. Did you or didn't you? Brucelucier (talk) 18:56, 9 October 2022 (UTC)
