Article deleted[edit]

The article WHAT THE WORLD TEACH has been speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This happened because the article seems to be about a person or group of persons but it does not indicate how or why that person or group is notable. If you can indicate why the subject is really notable, you are free to re-create the article, making sure to cite any verifiable sources. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. You might also want to read our criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 7 under Articles. Article recreated[edit]

You have recently created the article WHAT THE WORLD TEACH. This was deleted in accordance with Wikipedia's deletion policies. Please do not recreate the article: if you disagree with the article's deletion, you may ask for a review at Wikipedia:Deletion review. Jibbles | Talk 23:32, 19 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

  • I am sorry that you have had such a bumpy reception on Wikipedia. I have created the page User:Bratinella/Draft article where you can develop the article until it is ready for you to spring it upon a surprised world :-) BlueValour 23:36, 19 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
  • I have now copied the article across to User:Bratinella/Draft article so it is available for you to work on when you are ready. I have fixed your User page - the dotted boxes happen when you have a space at the start of the line. BlueValour 23:42, 19 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I see that you have succeeded with that one :-) BlueValour 01:46, 20 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for creating the above article, but wikipedia already has a version of it at Spy Kids. I've changed your page into a redirect to that page. Thanks Martinp23 23:44, 20 July 2006 (UTC

It's okay now[edit]

Thanks to the change that bluevalour did. he merged the article from spy kids with my pics. i was planning to make several diff links for each part yet i kinda liked it. i believe i'd let it that way for now until such time when i can add a few articles up. thanks guys! sweet n pretty bratzynella 01:02, 21 July 2006 (UTC)Retrieved from "http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User_talk:Martinp23"[reply]

Thanks for letting me know - I thought that the title of the page was a typo and that you'd thought there was no article on spykids, so I made it into a redirect. Thanks Martinp23 10:44, 21 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Image copyright problem with Image:Athena_pallas.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Athena_pallas.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

Unspecified source for Image:Sweet quiet face.JPG[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Sweet quiet face.JPG. I notice the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you have not created this file yourself, then there needs to be a justification explaining why we have the right to use it on Wikipedia (see copyright tagging below). If you did not create the file yourself, then you need to specify where it was found, i.e., in most cases link to the website where it was taken from, and the terms of use for content from that page.

If the file also doesn't have a copyright tag, then one should be added. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Fair use, use a tag such as {{Non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair_use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Kimchi.sg 08:38, 26 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Image copyright problem with Image:Athena pallas.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Athena pallas.jpg. However, the image may soon be deleted unless we can determine the copyright holder and copyright status. The Wikimedia Foundation is very careful about the images included in Wikipedia because of copyright law (see Wikipedia's Copyright policy).

The copyright holder is usually the creator, the creator's employer, or the last person who was transferred ownership rights. Copyright information on images is signified using copyright templates. The three basic license types on Wikipedia are open content, public domain, and fair use. Find the appropriate template in Wikipedia:Image copyright tags and place it on the image page like this: {{TemplateName}}.

Please signify the copyright information on any other images you have uploaded or will upload. Remember that images without this important information can be deleted by an administrator. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me, or ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Kimchi.sg 08:38, 26 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Your Titanic and Movieworld pages[edit]

Please note that Wikipedia does not allow pages that contain mostly text and pictures that are copied from other websites or screenshots of movies. For this reason, I have deleted your TITANIC and MOVIEWORLD pages and the pictures on these two pages. If you wish to contribute to Wikipedia, please add only text and pictures that are made by yourself. Do not copy from movie screenshots or websites. Kimchi.sg 08:48, 26 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Image:Multiples.jpg listed for deletion[edit]

An image or media file that you uploaded or altered, Image:Multiples.jpg, has been listed at Wikipedia:Images and media for deletion. Please look there to see why this is (you may have to search for the title of the image to find its entry), if you are interested in it not being deleted. Thank you. User:Bratinella/Draft article[edit]

I have added a "{{prod}}" template to the article User:Bratinella/Draft article, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but I don't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and I've explained why in the deletion notice (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may contest the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on [[Talk:User:Bratinella/Draft article|its talk page]]. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Do not restore deleted content[edit]

until you have cleared the copyright problems. Please also be aware of the proposed deletion of User:Bratinella/Draft article. If you want to keep it, fix it up and move it into article space, or show at least some sign that you are working on it. DGG 00:37, 14 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Bratinella. An automated process has found and removed an image or media file tagged as nonfree media, and thus is being used under fair use that was in your userspace. The image (Image:Focusing.jpg) was found at the following location: User:Bratinella/Draft article. This image or media was attempted to be removed per criterion number 9 of our non-free content policy. The image or media was replaced with Image:NonFreeImageRemoved.svg , so your formatting of your userpage should be fine. Please find a free image or media to replace it with, and or remove the image from your userspace. User:Gnome (Bot)-talk 03:39, 14 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free image (Image:Music sheets.jpg)[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Music sheets.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 04:23, 14 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
