Your submission at Articles for creation[edit]

Thank you for your recent submission to Articles for Creation. Your article submission has been reviewed. Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. Please view your submission to see the comments left by the reviewer. You are welcome to edit the submission to address the issues raised, and resubmit once you feel they have been resolved.

A couple of notes[edit]

Hello, Booth Transport. Regarding your request for a username change, I wanted to let you know that your username is independent of the subject of any article you may be working on. Also, using the name of a company, organization or product is prohibited by the username policy, so you should request to have it changed to something personal. It doesn't have to be your real name, just something that identifies you as an individual editor. You can update your current username change request to ask for such a name, or you can go simply create a new request altogether. I can see you got a response above to your Articles for Creation submission, as well as some useful links about our policies and guidelines at the top of this page. Let me invite you to review them carefully, so to ensure that the article is suitable for inclusion in the encyclopedia. And since it seems that you're affiliated with the company "Booth Transport", please also review the conflict of interest guideline. If you have any doubt don't hesitate to post it here or on my talk page, and I'll be glad to help. Best regards — Frankie (talk) 13:00, 11 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hello again. There is something that I overlooked previously, and that is the possibility that "Lindsay Booth" is actually your own name, or, considering your new request, that "BoothD" is perhaps a construction of your last name and your first name initial. You are certainly allowed to use your real name to edit; it is slightly discouraged, but by no means prohibited, so if you could please shed some light on that we should be able to get this going. If it isn't your personal name, though, you'd need to choose a name that doesn't reflect the company's name at all. I'll await for a response. Best regards — Frankie (talk) 12:43, 16 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

File source and copyright licensing problem with File:Booth Vinyard.jpg[edit]

File Copyright problem
File Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading File:Booth Vinyard.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status and its source. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously.

If you did not create this work entirely yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the page from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of the website's terms of use of its content. If the original copyright holder is a party unaffiliated with the website, that author should also be credited. You will also need to state under what licensing terms it was released. Please refer to the image use policy to learn what files you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. The page on copyright tags may help you to find the correct tag to use for your file.

Please add this information by editing the image description page. If the necessary information is not added within the next days, the image will be deleted. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.

Please also check any other files you may have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Here is a list of your uploads. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Eeekster (talk) 04:34, 22 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Your account has been blocked indefinitely from editing Wikipedia because it appears to be mainly intended for publicity and/or promotional purposes. Please read the following carefully.

Why can't I edit Wikipedia?

Your account's edits and/or username indicate that it is being used on behalf of a company, group, celebrity or other well-known individual, or organization for purposes of promotion and/or publicity. The edits may have violated one or more of our rules on spamming, which include: adding inappropriate external links, posting advertisements, and using Wikipedia for promotion. Wikipedia has many articles on companies, groups, and organizations, but such groups are generally discouraged from using Wikipedia to write about themselves. In addition, usernames like yours are disallowed under our username policy.

Am I allowed to make these edits if I change my username?

Probably not. See WP:FAQ/Organizations for a helpful list of frequently asked questions by people in your position. Also, review the conflict of interest guidance to see the kinds of limitations you would have to obey if you did want to continue editing about your company, group, organization, or clients. If this does not fit in with your goals, then you will not be allowed to edit again. Consider using one of the many websites that allow this instead.

What can I do now?

You are still welcome to write about something other than your company, organization, or clients. If you do intend to make useful contributions on some other topic, you must convince a Wikipedia administrator that you mean it. To that end, please do the following:

  • Add the text {{unblock-spamun|Your proposed new username|Your reason here}} on your user talk page.
  • Replace the text "Your proposed new username" with a new username you are willing to use. See Special:Listusers to search for available usernames. Your new username will need to meet our username policy.
  • Replace the text "Your reason here" with your reason to be unblocked. In this reason, you must:
  • Convince us that you understand the reason for your block and that you will not repeat the edits for which you were blocked.
  • Describe in general terms the contributions that you intend to make if you are unblocked.
If you believe this block was made in error, you may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|Your reason here}} below but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first. Alexf(talk) 14:31, 22 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

unblocked for 24 hours[edit]

I've unblocked you for 24 hours so you can change your username. You still need to follow our conflict of interest policy and not write about yourself or your company. Secretlondon (talk) 02:05, 1 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
