Changing dates in PL player appearances pages[edit]

Hi Bobsterboy - As you are very active with changing the dates regularly on a few Premier League wikipedia pages listing appearance, even on days when there have been no premier league activity, please be aware that each page needs to have the date changed in the code in two places. You'll notice that at the bottom of the article there is a reference section that notes what date the latest data was retrieved, that date also needs to match the date that you correct in the article further up in the main text that says something like "Statistics are updated as of 8 December 2019.[1]". If in doubt how to change that please don't hesitate to ask, but those dates need to be consistent with each other as you can imagine. Thanks for your contributions TheRealGutripper (talk) 07:59, 9 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Please make sure you correctly update reference dates in both places or not at all like previously mentioned TheRealGutripper (talk) 11:38, 23 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Jake Paul[edit]

Hi Bobsterboy. You have no reason for changing the flag to Saudi Arabia from UK. AnEsonGib's nationality is the UK not Saudi Arabia. If you revert this again I will have you blocked.

A belated welcome![edit]

The welcome may be belated, but the cookies are still warm!

Here's wishing you a belated welcome to Wikipedia, Bobsterboy05. I see that you've already been around a while and wanted to thank you for your contributions. Though you seem to have been successful in finding your way around, you may benefit from following some of the links below, which help editors get the most out of Wikipedia:

Also, when you post on talk pages you should sign your name using four tildes (~~~~); that should automatically produce your username and the date after your post.

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! If you have any questions, feel free to leave me a message on my talk page, consult Wikipedia:Questions, or place {{help me}} on your talk page and ask your question there.

Again, welcome! ~ ToBeFree (talk) 01:30, 3 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Avoiding an edit war[edit]

Information icon Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. You appear to be repeatedly reverting or undoing other editors' contributions at Jake Paul. Although this may seem necessary to protect your preferred version of a page, on Wikipedia this is known as "edit warring" and is usually seen as obstructing the normal editing process, as it often creates animosity between editors. Instead of reverting, please discuss the situation with the editor(s) involved and try to reach a consensus on the talk page.

If editors continue to revert to their preferred version they are likely to lose their editing privileges. This isn't done to punish an editor, but to prevent the disruption caused by edit warring. In particular, editors should be aware of the three-revert rule, which says that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Edit warring on Wikipedia is not acceptable in any amount, and violating the three-revert rule is very likely to result in loss of your editing privileges. Thank you. ~ ToBeFree (talk) 01:30, 3 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Complete absence of communication with other editors[edit]

Hi Bobsterboy05,

please have a look at User_talk:ToBeFree#Issues_with_editor_Bobsterboy05.

Please listen to warnings by other users. They are trying to help you.

I have considered blocking you for refusing any communication about your edits. However, at the moment, your edits are not disruptive. For this reason, you are currently not blocked.

If possible, please respond to other users' messages. At least please do not ignore them.

If something is unclear, please ask for advice. If you do not understand a message, please ask for clarification.

Thank you very much. Best regards,
~ ToBeFree (talk) 03:58, 12 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification for April 21[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited England national football team, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Joe Gomez (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
