Yes, he is. Let me finish the article on him before you delete it, moron. And I chose the username to reflect my admiration for him.

My Talk Page

Hi there; I assume that the brief presence of a message from you about Gaybours was due to your msunderstanding as to who had created the page and who had deleted it (me). That's ok, but when you post something incorrectly to a talk page, as we have all done - me included - occasionally, it is nice to leave a note explaining what happened, as all these edits show up in the edit history. Happy wikying.

Contesting a speedy deletion

Instead of deleting the speedy tag, you should use the {{hangon}} template message on image page if you want to contest deletion. Best, nadav (talk) 08:59, 11 June 2007 (UTC)

Have replaced image about to put it on,Ω§|Blacksmith2 09:01, 11 June 2007 (UTC)

Non-free image

non-free image?? what do you mean?? as far as i can tell i took the picture, made the sims, lot etc, is a link allowed?Ω§|Blacksmith2 09:43, 11 June 2007 (UTC)

Well, I was responding to the fact that there's a nonfree copyright tag on the image page, and that you've also added your own copyright. I am not sure about the status is of screenshots from games where players do most of the graphics (if that's what you mean). However, even if that's the case, you still have to release the image as free content. I didn't see any indication that you did that. Also, notice that unfree images have to be in articles, they can't just sit unused on the server. Don't worry, you'll get the hang of this soon, just remember that wikipedia takes copyright seriously. Best, nadav (talk) 09:50, 11 June 2007 (UTC)
Linking from your user page is allowed. However, all nonfree images have to be used in articles and have to follow the rules set out in WP:NONFREE. There is no problem however with photographs you have taken yourself, as long as you upload them with a copyright tag that indicates they are free content. I hope this clears up the matter? nadav (talk) 10:10, 11 June 2007 (UTC)

Blanking images

Hi B- it's a little disruptive to blank out images by uploading blank files (this trips up some bots which monitor uploads). A better way to do it would be to add {{db-self}}, which adds Template:db-self to the page, and an administrator will delete it. Thanks- Staecker 21:23, 11 June 2007 (UTC)

I apologize for not getting on the right foot yesterday (I was sleep deprived). However, if you are willing to accept me as an adopter, I will be humbled. I am willing to accept you as an adoptee. Cheers. Miranda 07:23, 12 June 2007 (UTC)

I am a bit puzzled by the tag you put on this article, which looks fairly straightforward to me. Can you explain on the Talk page? Thanks. -- Kleinzach 11:27, 13 June 2007 (UTC)

Before submitting to delete any page, read the notability criteria. Miranda 04:27, 14 June 2007 (UTC)
Sorry? Was that for me or for Blacksmith2? I haven't submitted to delete any page but I was hoping to have an answer! -- Kleinzach 05:55, 14 June 2007 (UTC)
My apologies, Klein. That was for Blacksmith, my adoptee. Miranda 07:51, 14 June 2007 (UTC)
Whoops , my bad, sorry had two pages open and must have stuck it in the wrong page.sorry!Ω§|Blacksmith2 06:16, 14 June 2007 (UTC)
Miranda, it wasnt a delete request, usually its easy to tell if it should be deleted if its "Michel Bonns is a fucktard" or "Arien Pofr was born on 22 July 1991, is hot and enjoys playing cricket" by User:A.Pofr, which is how most of the ones i mark for deletion are, please don't take this tone as nasty in anyway, im just saying how the pages i mark with DB templates are like. P.s all those names are absolutely random.Ω§|Blacksmith2 08:46, 14 June 2007 (UTC)

(reduce indent) No, I was talking about Niccolò Antonio Zingarelli. Miranda 06:54, 15 June 2007 (UTC)

Pucci Dellanno - source deletes

hi there, thanks for your response.

yes, if you look at the history of the page, I had inserted sources about the articles and contributions, see here:

"Pucci writes as a reviewer for live music and new releases for a range of fanzines, from Subba Cultcha to Screaming Tarts[1]"

and the promoting activity, see here:

"Pucci is now retired from promotions, although she is still very active in the mediation and tour arrangement for a large number of artists.[2]"

and also see here:

"These events took place throughout the UK (e.g. Brighton, London, Newcastle, Liverpool) and acts featured include[3] The Libertines, Special Needs, Lisa Moorish's Kill City, The Bandits, Tramp Attack, The Pedantics, Towers of London, Black Wire, The Cribs, Metro Riots, Junkbox, New York's Elefant, Dustin's Bar Mitzvah, Selfish Cunt, The Paddingtons, The Blue Van. She also provided rock superstars Arctic Monkeys with their first ever concert outside of their home county of Yorkshire, in January 2005[4], and arranged for their now famous first London appearance at her friends' Flook's event Upstairs at the Garage, on 18 February 2005."

but these reference links to external verification have all been removed at some point or another. I do understand that they may be TOO MANY, if they're not needed can someone remove the 2needs verification" tag?

thanks for your help. I hope you mean the signature is like below.

once again, thanks for your help

so I suppose I can try and re-insert them with a proper citation, and see what happens (they had not been inserted by me actually). I am new at this, so thanks to everyone for their patience and help.

regarding citation and shadowbots

Hi there,

I have tried citing better, but that pesky shadowbot reverts my changes with proper citing, naming etc.

thanks for your help though.

Thom.
